Anyone know maybe a local spot that’s selling soccer jerseys, specifically for Mexico, here in Chico?

I heard explosions till a little after midnight. A lot fewer than last year.

Not complaining, just curious.

I’m looking for bike locks rn. I have a nice, newer e-bike that I plan on commuting with as much as I can.

I plan on scuffing it up, painting/taping logos, etc. and if I leave it outside I will be taking the battery. ( maybe the seat if it’s easy to do on a daily basis and can store it inside with me )

However, just wondering since I know how many bikes get stolen here; am I extremely likely to come across people with grinders or bolt cutters?
I may leave it outside for a day but never overnight.

I’m also wondering how much of a deterrent taking the battery / seat is.

Never had a bike before so I’m not sure how serious I need to get with it.

Also rn looking at getting a Kryptonite chain lock, and maybe the Mini 7 U-lock?

Parkside is probably gonna have the cops called at some point (they usually do on big holidays)

Anybody have any recommendations on someplace to post up and people watch this 4th of July evening?

I live very close to Lindo Channel, and lately I've noticed a lot more trash around the area, especially now that it's summer. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've also been seeing more homeless people around the channel again, and honestly it's been making the area feel less safe. At night I can hear people yelling from the channel, and there's one man who often walks along W. Lindo yelling for long periods of time. A few months ago I called the police about the constant yelling, but they told me there wasn't really anything they could do.The police told me that yelling by itself isn't illegal, but honestly, hearing someone screaming at 4 a.m. is terrifying. That's why I'm not taking walks anymore.

My boyfriend isn't a huge music person and doesn't get off work until later in the day. We want to do something but have no idea what, and sounds like most the stuff we might've liked was happening while he is working. Anyone know of anything cool or did we luck out? Thanks!

My Xfinity bill just went from $55 to $84, with no notice of an increase. Is there a cheaper provider out there? With reasonably good service?
