Can i safely cut 5mg in half?
I am trying to titrate very slowly on this. Is it ok to cut this dose in half without affecting the structure of the pill. I don’t think there was a score line.

Is it safe to take at a quarter dose? Would this damage the pill? Or is the mechanism sound enough where it can safely be cut twice and still taken?
I have a follow up with my cardiologist next week.
Hi, I am curious if someone can review this image and tell me their thoughts
Hi, for around 5 years now I’ve had on and off PVCs. I’ve also noticed pots type symptoms. I am a 46 yo M with controlled diabetes. He never been diagnosed with any heart related problems. That said, I get lots of heart related symptoms. Fast word to today. Daily palpitations, daily tachycardia episodes, everytime I move my heart races. Sometimes with chest pain and dizziness. I can’t even barely eat and I literally can’t even walk around the block without having my heart racing to at least 150 bpm. Occasionally, at rest it will go up past 130 as well. Yesterday I stood up and it went to 180.
In the past 5 years I’ve done:
Several EKGs with cardiology and ED
Had three stress test…one was an echo stress test
Regular echo
Worn 4 zio patch monitors
Had a tilt table test
Had 4 CTs
Had 5 MRI…one was a cardiac mri with contrast
All the blood work you can think of
My question is, with all these tests why wouldn’t they be able to detect a reason for my symptoms?
Hi, I question here…46 (m)
I keep having episodes of my heart rate spiking when I stand up. I’ve had ekgs, echo, stress echo, regular echo, cardiac mri, CAC (0) even with all these tests there is no answer to my symptoms. I am not on beta blocker yet, not on ssri but I am wearing my 4th Zio patch to see if I can get a diagnoses and ultimately a treatment. I eat clean, i used to exercise before my heart issues and I try to take care of myself. No alcohol, drugs, no smoking.
My question: I’ve been seeing on my heart monitor these blips where during an episode when I stand up sometimes my monitor will pick up these brief moments of very low heartbeat. Like my heart is racing at 140 bpm then wham, right down to 40 bpm for a few seconds then back up again. Is this a thing with POTS? Or is this an abnormal rhythm issue?
What do people do if you can’t even stand up without heart going to the races? Even with all these tests is it possible to have a blockage in my heart that’s causing all of this? My symptoms are everyday now. They used to be once every couple of weeks. It’s debilitating and there is no semblance of life.
