Tips I have for newer players

Forefront is a stupid fun game, but winning is also very important sometimes. There are some days you could not care less about winning or losing, but there are days where winning is all that matters to you. Here are some things I suggest.

1: Virtual stock

If you haven't been told this many times already, find and enable virtual stock. It will make aiming leagues easier than normal. I couldn't hit shit until I turned it on.

2: Don't fly helicopters if you don't know what your doing

PLEASE take time to learn flying in the training grounds!!! Helicopters are much simpler than they seem at first, but you are almost 100% going to crash at spawn your first time or two. Im not asking anyone to know how to do Mission: Impossible helicopter stunts, but atleast learn the basics (taking off, flying around, using flares)

3: Your starting primary on almost every class is almost/ just as viable as the best gun in their class

Almost every single gun in this game is viable, some much more than others. In most fire fights, it comes down to who can place more shots faster, not the person with the better gun. In all fairness, the KLAV will still take the edge sometimes against a gun like the M4 if they attack at similar times, but balancing issues are a thing in every game. An M4 or an SG5 are both fantastic weapons, and can carry your early grind in classes. The only thing this doesn't apply for is recon, the AWN is hell to start with. If you can make it work though, then you can perform just as well as a CTAC user.

4: Don't whine at people on the mic

If you are going to sit there and whine about people "hacking" or cry about someone using the KLAV even though they snuck up on you fair and square, please either mute yourself or learn to deal with good players. Forefront is a blast, but you will struggle your first few matches with kills. Whenever I'm performing bad and start bitching at people on the mic, my fun and everyone in my party's fun takes a huge hit. Im not saying "git gud", but don't be mad that people are performing well when your having a rough match. (looping back to the hacking thing, I have seen maybe one true hacker in all of my time playing. I can almost guarantee they aren't a hacker, they just have really good aim)

Enjoy Forefront!

How much XP total is required to hit level 50?

Just maxed out every class, my next goal after weapon attachments is hitting level 50. I'm level 36 right now, how much XP do I need to climb?

just had an acid trip in the training ground

Got back on my quest 3s after showing a friend what Forefront was like in the training grounds. I put on the headset and was greeted to this wonderful buggy goodness. I don't know why I was so fast, it looked like doom with the frame rate.

REVOLVERS!!!

New roadmap mentions a new weapon with 6 bullets. This is almost certainly going to be a revolver. What do you think of this? I can't wait to use the big iron in the middle of the wild west town in Clearwater

What's your best moment that you failed to get on recording?

Personally, I got a rpg kill on a little bird whilst flying the transport heli. I got so excited that I accidentally crashed into a pine tree. I looked for my red recording dot and it wasn't there. What moments have y'all had like this?

People need to use the tank for anti air more

If you hit any shot on a little bird or apache, they lose the helicopter. Even if you pop a few shots at a little bird when heading to a point, that can shift a fight hard, especially if the pilot is good. It also brings a transport down to like 20%, which usually means death if they don't have flares and someone has a talon. I sat in a tank and shot down like 3 little birds and a transport last night. People usually pay you no mind if you arent near a point. I lasted like half the game and ruined their air support that whole time.

My friend caught these pictures moments before the sky Humvee flattened me

Other team kept ramping humvees onto point A in the first part of marutania, apparently they managed to save one to fling off the cliff

What is the appeal of oasis?

I never understood oasis when we have Iceland. Both have almost the exact same play style and serve the same purpose, having a open, relatively flat map. Is there anything that makes oasis different besides it being sandy with some water?

People ducking behind the wheel of vehicles

There's a bug where people duck down behind the steering wheel of the vehicle in 3rd person mode so they can't be shot out, is this being fixed anytime soon?
