$1000+ worth of skins gone.

Posting this mainly to vent and for awareness because I learned this lesson the hard way.

On May 9, I temporarily shared my VALORANT account for tournament-related play. During login, the “Remember this device for 30 days” option stayed enabled.

On May 15, I was suddenly told that enforcement had already happened on the account. That’s when I realized the trusted session may still have been active and used again afterward without me knowing.

The person who accessed my account is currently playing in VALORANT Challengers - Southeast Asia, which is honestly part of why I trusted the request in the first place.

Riot Support acknowledged there were no signs of a traditional hacked-account situation, which makes sense because the account wasn’t accessed through stolen credentials — it was a previously trusted session that remained active through the “Remember this device for 30 days” option.

I already know sharing accounts was my mistake, and I fully accept that part. What hurts the most is that I invested so much time, money, and effort into this account over the years — probably over $1000 worth of skins alone. It had all my favorite skins and memories attached to it, and it honestly feels terrible losing it over something I didn’t personally do aside from the mistake of allowing shared access in the first place. :<

I’m honestly just frustrated and disappointed with how everything turned out, and I genuinely want people to be careful with trusted sessions. :c

Bye my Beatrix#1201
