Fluids n Such after purchase

I’m about to drain oil and transmission after buying an 03 ex at 171k. Power steering and brake fluid were dark brown and they had the wrong power steering fluid too. My mechanic said pick one type of oil and stick with it. Thing is, I have no idea whats in there. It’s clean and the engine is pristine but i think it needs a valve adjustment. Was gonna try on my own but I am not a mechanic and new to cars. Is it a mistake to drain this oil and replace with Liqui Moly 5w-20 full synthetic ? I read a lot about how good it is with Element engines. I live in AZ. It was from Texas originally. Bought at auction and bought from a dealer. Anyway, so I just bought honda oem atf for transmission and a new transmission filter. The air filters looked like this to give you an idea. It was dirty. I’m about to drive it ten hours and want be sure I dont mess anything up.

Coolant fill question

Noob, just topping off coolant and accidentally added more than halfway between min and max. This is ann03 EX Automatic w/171k. Is there a need to siphon or is it ok? It’s a new to me used car. I’m replacing fluids. Transmission is next. Any advice? I also need to reseal the timing inspection cover. Do I need to remove the wheel?

Manual 07 LX Sport 275k mi -Purchase Y/N?

Hey there fellow Element-Lovers!

So, I sold my ‘03 when the transmission died. Theres a manual, ‘07 I’m looking at that is affordable, seems to be in great shape. BUT its had 4 owners, but also has never in a rust belt state. Guy selling seems legit. I’d prefer an automatic but hard to find one underneath 9k and in good shape. Is it dumb to buy the manual one with such high mileage? Car fax supplied - shows all basic maintenance was maintained but ad specifies a whole bunch of stuff replaced. Struts, solenoid, brakes, engine mounts.

Thoughts about buying it for $6,500 with 275k?

What to check when taking for PPI?

Thanks in advance!!

What to bill- arrived sick

Sick client arrives to session without prior disclosure that they have a cold. my policy states that if they are going to be sick, they need to either wear a mask or stay home. Client clearly did not do that. Claims she should probably be over the cold as it had started five days prior, yet was observed to be coughing and with a runny nose so they offered to wear a mask. A mask was provided and 15 minutes into the session they said they have to go because t hey can’t breathe and they left the room abruptly. Do I try to bill them for that 15 minutes? Do I charge them for late cancellation what would you do?
