Well at least we're ahead of Alabama and Mississippi 😕

"As the United States turns 250 years old, a sweeping new report tracking the health of all 50 states and Washington, D.C. has delivered a verdict that cuts through political noise with uncomfortable clarity: American incomes are rising, yet Americans are becoming more miserable at the same time."

Pretty sad how we are on the bottom 10 on this list, especially when you think of the other states in the worst 10 list. As the article points out though, this is bad nationwide, as every state is getting worse, as everyone is becoming less happy. Hmmm nationwide... geez I wonder why? 🙄

Any Write-in Candidates

I think it ws posted on here how for first time in a couple of decades, the D managed to get candidates, in all of the state types of offices. meaning state rep races on up. But from what I understand, and its because of the expense (its close to 10k I believe) of filling to one of the major parties in the county elections, the Ds don't have anyone running in my county elections. So I'm curious, and I think it would be interesting to see this across the state, if anyone is trying to run as a write in one any of these races where there is only the incumbent (or maybe just some GrOPer running for the first time) there's no one running against them on the ballot.

As for me I have always written in someone (or something!! haha) when I've seen it in the past. But I wonder with that crazy high cost of getting on the ballot, why someone doesn't at least try and do it this way in the primary. Write in candidates do sometimes win and... I would know 😄 (yeah but... it was another state in another time lol)
