Terrible steering

Terrible steering

I've driven buses from every make, every type, old and new. My least favorite, hands down, are our new (2025) Blue Bird short conventionals. They all have the worst steering of any bus I've used. I can't tell if it's too sensitive or not sensitive enough, but the thing is all over the road. Even if you focus constantly on keeping a straight line, the bus will ride like you're driving drunk. It's not just me, all our drivers complain about it. We have 3 of them and they're all the same.

The horns also don't work (I pulled one steering wheel apart and it's honestly the cheapest dumbest way of making a horn I've seen) and the automatic door lock fails 8/10 times.

Getting Cheddar a friend?

Hello everyone, seeking advice.

4 years ago I adopted a bird I named Cheddar. I intended on getting him a friend, but unfortunately lost my job and went through a lot of stuff. My mother ended up taking him in, and has provided him with good care for the past few years.

Now she is moving and its looking like he'll end up back with me. I should still be familiar to him; he's spent time over here when my mom is travelling and I visit them occasionally. I want to make sure his transition is smooth.

I'm considering finally getting a second bird because I've always felt bad he's been alone but I've also heard that at this point, he may be too old to bond?

I have a cage big enough for two, and a second one that could be used as a temporary space for the new bird so they can acclimate to each other (and the new one can be quarantined). Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Iced coffee. dumped out my freezer ice bucket. dumped out my coffee. Follow me for more recipes. is this enough text for the title yet?

I posit this is not ragebait because I did not purposefully create this masterpiece

You uhh... Got your mouth full there. Picture I took a while back of a seagull eating an entire starfish. He ate it down whole not a second after I took it.

Landlord didn't actually install the range hood

Moved into an apartment with new kitchen appliances a few months ago. Woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of half the range hood falling and found out the fan I'd been using for months was basically useless.

This is not the only problem in the kitchen but it is the most ridiculous.

Eaten hastily before hitting the road. Tell me you can't taste this burger through the picture! It's exactly how it looks. Not amazing, but burgers like this always bring back so many memories
