Hello Kitty 🎂

I made a Hello Kitty cake for my Hello Kitty obsessed nieces 3rd birthday. The last pic was the one I sent my sister on the day of the party, 2 hours before I arrived with the cake 😂

I made my first loaf of bread, ever!

I followed a yt vid recipe: https://youtu.be/Vb1Am5uD3ss?si=exd\_axXaC4UPr5cq

Ingredients:
370ml warm water
10g dry yeast
1tsp salt
500g plain flour

Method
Combine, let proof for 2 hours.
Fold dough from sides into the middle, and press, repeat, shape into a ball.
Let rest for 30 minutes and preheat oven to 220°C
Heat Dutch oven inside oven whilst dough proofs.
Place dough in Dutch oven, cover and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove lid and cook for a further 15-25 minutes depending on how brown you like your loaf.
Remove from oven and pot.
Let cool before cutting

Got invited to a toddler birthday party and my girl was specifically requested

Here she is afterwards with my nephew. He’s a soft touch when it comes to swiping treats — specifically sausages tonight.

She was so gentle with all the kids, though I made sure she was limited around them and took her for several walks just to keep her calm and to stop her from getting overwhelmed.

Catholic pocket Bible recs needed

Hi all
I’m needing to ask for help in finding Catholic pocket bibles. Well, one bible actually. My sister travels every couple years and recently got back from her international trip and wash devastated at her decision to rely on a digital copy of the bible. She hated it. Unfortunately, all her copies of the bible are full sized, not small or slim for reduced size and weight. We do a lot of hiking so size and weight is a huge factor here.

Her favourite translation is the Jerusalem Bible and we’re both aware that may be limiting things too much. So a decent translation would be preferable. Other preferences include soft leather cover or similar.

Any help/recommendations would be amazing. Links or personal feedback too.

Her birthday is in July so I’m not on a time crunch yet.
