Does a Truck Bed Fork Mount need a rear-wheel strap for a Carbon Fiber fork?
I just got a bike with a carbon fiber front fork (first time).
This is not my pic & not my bike, but I have a similar setup in my truck with a front fork mount at the cab.
On my steel fork mountain bike I've always run just like that.
I was wondering if I need strap down the rear tire or put a strap over the frame or do anything else to protect the carbon fork from shear stress as the bike maybe wants to sway back and forth.
Or, is it good to go just the same with the front fork being the only point attaching the bike to the truck.
