Advice on orientation

Im inclined to just tilt it back about 40-45° but im conserned about the trident.

I just want to throw this out there for anyone that gets frustrated with failed prints. Those partially printed, partially mangled Space Marines make wonderful test canvases for colours and shading or contrasts. I just started painting a new Militarum group and was wondering how some colours would work together. Brother “I fell off the printer” was voluntold to assist.
“Brother, why do you look like you were target practice at a decorated cake fight? You could blend perfectly within a kaleidoscope.”
“…shut up…with all due respect…”
I am preparing for subscriptions start in September! This guy here will be a part of rewards for one of the first two months while the championess I teasered earlier will be released in the other.
Hey everyone,
after a lot of test‑prints, reworks and feedback from the community, The Depths of Tasar is ready to go live. It will be released this Friday on Kickstarter.
To say thanks, I’m running a small launch giveaway:
The set is designed for Boarding Actions games with:

An upvote and sharing this post to help visibility would be hugely appreciated so more people can grab a chance at the free set. Thanks again for all the feedback that helped shape this project!
Here is a massive over 200 mm tall 3d printed emperors compared to a space marine and tabletop sized emperor
Finally got some of my space wolves complete and wanted to share. While all 3D printed, I tried to create at least moderately accurate proxies. I present Logan. Arjac, and their respective bodyguard units!
Hi all,
I just wanted to say thanks a lot to all of you who posted really thoughtful informative comments on a previous post I made asking for input on FDM versus resin quality. Such a great community.
As an update, I ended up finding a second hand unopened Mars 4 for AUS 150. I’ve had it about two weeks now and printed and painted a few models and just thought I’d share an update on my first few weeks in case others came across this post who were asking the same question.
My experience so far: the set up was a bit pricey to buy respirator, gloves etc. I ended up buying water washable resin and I haven’t found the smell or clean up too arduous at all. All in I probably spent another 100 bucks getting all the safety gear, silicone mats, methylated spirits, resin, gloves paper towel etc.
The print quality is a lot better in terms of detail crispness and they are so much more enjoyable to paint both because of the detail and the absence of support scarring and layer lines. Having said that, after priming and painting the differences are almost imperceptible from a distance. I’ve attached a picture of a weird boy I printed in FDM (grey) and resin (black) and from the picture I can barely see the difference. I print to paint, not to play so for me the improved detail etc. is well worth it.
I had a couple of failed prints initially while I figured out burn in layers, layer thickness etc. but now I doubt I’ll ever use my FDM for minis again. I haven’t yet bought a cure station and have been using the sun where I can plus a cheap uv torch which has worked fine. I will probably save for a cure station in future just for convenience but I don’t think I actually need one.
Basically I’m really, really happy with the purchase.
Thank again to everyone that took the time to provide really extensive comments on their experience.
Just bought a P1, it's an absolute champ!
I thought I'd share my WIP of a castle model I've been working on. All work so far has been done in SolidWorks, and I think I'm almost ready to import into Blender to add textures. I've really tried my best to balance historical accuracy, gameplay considerations, and printability.
Asphodel was once a sleep agri-world full of misty meadows and alpine mountains. Pale medicinal flowers were tended by simple folk on simple farms and their harvest tithes ensured that medicae's throughout the subsector operated in abundance. Then the schism happened. Demi-gods and their sons waged a war of belief amongst the stars and picket fleets abandoned their posts to join rebels or loyalist. No one saw the Greenskin Rocks slip through the once unbreachable net of the imperial navy, not until Asphodel burned and it's meadows choked upon ash.
I recently joined the hobby and have been sourcing files via the purple site. Recently I discovered the blue app, however I have concerns with viruses. Are there any precautions I can take to avoid downloading viruses? Thanks!
