Wow..
Just printed my first mini. I honestly had low expectations, but wow this came out awesome. I can’t wait to print more

What are your preferred P2S print profiles? I’m super excited to get printing as my 0.2 nozzle just arrived. So far, I’m thinking of trying out the dungeons & derps 2.0 and stormotron’s profiles
While I wait for my 0.2 nozzle to arrive, I have been searching for STLs and prepping my slicer settings. Something that came to mind is if I should be printing minis assembled or as individual parts (head, torso, legs, etc)? Print time aside, is there a noticeable difference in quality as well?
I recently joined the hobby and have been sourcing files via the purple site. Recently I discovered the blue app, however I have concerns with viruses. Are there any precautions I can take to avoid downloading viruses? Thanks!
Going into college, mechanical engineering seemed like the ideal choice. It combined my passion for creating things with a good salary.
Throughout college, I began to have doubts about engineering. Not only were classes difficult, but they were heavily theoretical. I quickly lost interest in my classes, and my passion was fading. By my junior year, I began considering alternate career paths. At the same time, a buddy of mine who was pursuing firefighting shared his experiences from the academy. Firefighting looked exciting, meaningful, and fulfilling. However, I figured it was probably just be a phase, and that the smartest decision was to finish my degree. I also thought that completing an internship might help shift my perspective on engineering.
Fast forward to my senior year, I completed a 10 month engineering internship. The internship was a mix of desk work and hands-on projects, yet I still found myself dreading it. The experience made me realize that I struggle to picture myself working a 9-5 desk job for the rest of my life.
Since graduating, I've been applying to engineering jobs both in and out of state. At this point, I'm honestly burned out from the application process alone, and my lack of interest in the field doesn't help. I understand that engineering is diverse with many different roles, so should I continue exploring engineering positions that might be a better fit? Should I work as an engineer for a few years before seriously considering a switch to firefighting? Would it make sense to work as an engineer, while volunteering as a firefighter on the side?
I’m thinking of taking my little one to the Bonelli swim beach over the weekend. I have seen mixed reviews on the water quality and would love an updated review on their swim beach
I’ll also be bringing my paddle board and was wondering if the launch site is relatively close to the swim beach?
Thanks

Hey all! As the title says, I am a recent mechanical engineering graduate looking for affordable and diverse cities to relocate to for work opportunities. Below are the criteria for an ideal city:
Outdoor hobbies: Outdoors is a must for me. I love hiking and mountain biking on my free time. Eventually, I want to start camping and paddle boarding. From my understanding, Austin has the best outdoor culture compared to the other major cities
People: I’m looking for a friendly and ethnically diverse community. Since both my girlfriend and I come from minority backgrounds, it is important for us to find a place where we can fit in and make friends
Affordable living/housing
Within an hour drive to a major city
Cities I have looked at are Cedar Park, Round Rock, Missouri City, Pflugerville, Leander, Baytown, and Buda. Thanks!

Im looking for my first inflatable paddle board, and came across this Abrazo board at a discounted price on FB marketplace. I can’t seem to find any reviews on it though. Has anyone had experience with these boards? Thank you
Hey! I’m a recent mechanical engineer graduate open to relocating for better work opportunities. At the moment, I have looked at WA (Tacoma, Spokane, Vancouver) and MI (Grand Rapids). Work aside, I would love to be somewhere with these preferences:

Started with black star canyon then heard about strawberry peak via mountaineering route. Both were an absolute blast, and I’m wondering if there are any other hikes with similar scrambling? Thanks!
The switch 2 has been great, but the joystick’s limited range of motion has been bothering me. Are there any upgrades or replacement to improve this?
I have an 18” magnetic tool strip set up on a pegboard. Is it safe to place a power strip in the directly row below it? Thank you
