Shooting my shot for the last time! Help a dental hygiene student out :)

Hi everyone! I apologize in advance if this post is not allowed; I posted here last semester and a few people from this sub were kind enough to come in as my patients and helped me with my clinical. So I'm shooting my shot again this time and hoping some of you might wanna come to get a dental cleaning 😊

I’m now in my senior year of the Dental Hygiene program at MCPHS Worcester, and I’m hoping to find a few patients for my clinic sessions starting in September.

Because this is a student teaching clinic, appointments are a little different from a regular dental office. Visits are very thorough and include a dental and gum evaluation, oral cancer screening, X-rays when needed, and a dental cleaning. Everything I do is supervised and checked by licensed dental hygienists and dentists on-site.

There is no charge for treatment and insurance isn’t required!

The biggest thing I want to mention upfront is the time commitment. Appointments are about 3.5 hours because faculty check each step of the process, and I’m mainly looking for people who are able to commit to at least 2 visits. Depending on what you need, it could be fewer or more appointments. I know it's a very long appointment but I promise you it's going to be worth it! :)

My clinic availability this semester are Mondays: 8 AM–5 PM and Wednesdays: 5:30–9 PM.

If anyone has been meaning to get a cleaning/checkup and wouldn’t mind helping a dental hygiene student at the same time, feel free to message me. You’re also welcome to DM me if you just have questions about how the student clinic works!

Thank you 😊

Hi everyone! I'm not sure if this is allowed so I apologize in advance, but I'm gonna shoot my shot 😊

I’m a dental hygiene student at MCPHS in Worcester, and I’m currently looking for patients to help me complete my clinical requirements. If you’ve been putting off a dental visit, are just due for a cleaning, don't have dental insurance, or just simply want to help me out as a fellow student, this could be a good option! You’ll get a professional cleaning, a thorough dental exam, and X-rays if needed. We also provide whitening and fabrication of athletic mouthguard!

All care is supervised and checked by licensed hygienists and dentists.

Just a heads up, appointments are longer than a typical visit (around 3 hours), and you may need more than one appointment depending on your needs.

No insurance is required since this is a teaching clinic and all care is free!

If you’re interested, please shoot me a DM or comment and I’ll reach out to you. I’d really appreciate it 🙏 Thank you!

EDIT: Thank you all so much for reaching out 😭 I’m honestly really grateful for how kind and supportive everyone in this sub has been.

I’m currently fully booked for June, but I’m still taking patients for July and onward, so please still feel free to DM me! I’m sorry I miss some comments but I’ll try my best to reply and get everyone’s info down. I also have friends/classmates in the program who need patients too, so I’m still happy to connect people with the clinic. Thanks again everyone!
