You can really see how Tatum has modeled his game after PG on defense it’s crazy. They both play lanes and bait ball handlers the exact same way. With both of them and White we should have a nightmarish offball defense. I can’t think of another team recently with 3 A++ offball defenders with extreme length and iq like this. I genuinely think with health we have as good of a shot as anybody.
I’m down to drop around 150 or so today. If I’m only playing myteam and want the best value for that amount what’s the best combo of vc/version to buy?
I don’t see a world where JB happily comes back next year after being in trade rumors like this. There is significantly more smoke and reporting than when he was in KD talks 4 years ago. Also he is coming off his best and personal favorite season. I just can’t not see him demanding a trade after this.
So in a hypothetical world where a team like the Magic swoop in and overpay what do you guys think we do next? We’re absolutely not giving him that extension, and he’ll be disgruntled so where do we pivot too? Young players and picks? Or do we swing for another top 30ish player? What do you guys think will be the next best package we could get for JB?
