About the newest Gator Keys video...
Is Gator Keys known for stating what is absolutely pure speculation as matter of facts? At 14:38 in the video, he states "That's because while creating this, Rockstar was studying the movie "The Atomic Submarine"... Because there is a UFO underwater? Something deeply embedded within UFO culture is that they can go underwater. To state as a matter of fact that Rockstar game studios was studying a very niche 1959 science fiction film about a submarine?
While I can agree with some of the concepts in this video, like Chiliad being a parallel to Devils Tower in Close Encounters of the Third Kind (even that is a gigantic stretch), most of this video is absolutely baseless speculation being passed off as "the TRUTH"...
I don't even feel like finishing the video, it's that distasteful to me.
Watch out for Gator Keys, this screams disinformation IMO.
EDIT: He also says the Submersible in Story mode is based on one from the alien movie "The Abyss", when in reality it is likely based on the NOAA Ocean Explorer Clelia , which retired in 2010. So much wrong information in one video can be damaging to this community.
My Personal Doomsday Mural Mapping Project
I've been trying to gather everything I can to make a version of the DD mural that has the in-game object references, as well as other potentially important information. I still need to include triggers into this, although I'm not sure how I can make them fit into this specific image while making sense (if any of it does).
One trigger I found particularly interesting was when you shoot the Zancudo UFO, the light does not come on at the bunker at 3 AM anymore. This implies to me that one of the required steps is shooting the physical UFO's, like in Zancudo and above the Alien cult camp.
Also included is an image of what I believe to be the true Mt. Chiliad Eye, only able to be seen on the 27th day of the 56 day Lunar cycle, from 18:30 to 18:50 at the Mt. Gordo Yoga mat. This has been pointed out in the past, but I feel the trail leading up the mountain from this perspective (in line with one of the glyphs), plus the eye's iris when viewed from a sniper, makes this a contender for the uppermost yellow portion of the Doomsday mural.
I am hoping we can get some fellow codewalkers to assess the potential triggers within the UFOs (when they are shot at, disabling the bunker light, etc). If you have any questions about this mural layout, or anything you think needs to be added, please do comment. I am trying to update this to the best of my ability.
Kifflom, brothers.
Kortz Center Heist Update
Anyone else feel like more hints could come out of this coming update? Like the Doomday Heist mural? Hoping we get some potential answers or hints from this,
Kifflom brothers.
Weazel Morningwood "Key" Has a Projectile Hitbox
Greetings brothers, I noticed while playing yesterday that the "key" we have been focusing on does indeed have a hitbox, but only for projectiles such as grenades, RPGs and fireworks. Explosive bullets do not effect it, and grenades will bounce almost perfectly off the top when launched from the top of the "lock" building. Interested to see what everyone can make of this, Kifflom brothers.
EDIT: I should also note I am playing on the day where an eclipse lines up with the top of Mt Chiliad when you’re on Mt Gordo. This lines up with 56_027 and 18 49 seen on Leopalds, as it is the 27th day of the (around) 56 day moon cycle. The eclipse also happens (give or take) around 18:49. This in my opinion is the game hinting to us what day and time to do the first step.
Weazel Morningwood "Lock" Bell Sound
Thanks for u/based_birdo for sharing the info about the "lock" (link to their post), While looking around the roof of this building I noticed that when the box's are blown up with a molotov, the explosion sound effect seems to have a bell-like sound that is clearly audible, and I have not heard this sound at all since I started playing in 2013. Wondering what you all can make of this, kifflom brothers.
EDIT: tagged wrong user sorry :(
EDIT 2: it appears I was able to replicate this sound on the top of the nearby police station, so it could just be a certain explosion sound. Still a little interesting.
EDIT 3: yeah nvm this is a unique sound, not at all like the one on the police station.
FINAL EDIT: Honestly I think these sounds are coming from the bell-looking vents at the edge of the building, if you place a sticky bomb on them they make the same exact noise. For me this is a debunk as they aren't coming from the box's, but I will leave the post up so others can experiment.
I quickly designed this part to fix the unstable swivel of the Nexus to Menasor fan connection. Fills in the gap to allow a more stable pose. Free to download on Makerworld, printed using a Bambu A1.
Planning to release this soon on Makerworld, it’s somewhat simpler than the first version I made. Features TPU skin and a single motor setup using MG995 motors, so a pretty high torque can be achieved (60 pounds potentially). With a proper blade these could also potentially stab through things. Public release soon.
