Unpopular opinion: Rory wasn’t wrong to go have lunch with Jess after the bid a basket

He won the basket. When she and Dean agreed to participate in this town function they agreed to the risk of Dean being outbid. If Dean can’t handle someone outbidding him and Rory following the procedure then he should have asked Rory if they could skip the is particular function. They shouldn’t just rage quit because Dean lost.

Clearly they didn’t anticipate Jess outbidding Dean, but that was a risk they adopted when they decided to play.

What nice thing do you do for your spouse in the background?

I don’t mean “made them breakfast” or something very obvious, just something subtle that makes their life a little easier or better. For example-

I recently found out my husband will make sure there’s always water in the keurig. He doesn’t drink coffee, so there is nothing in it for him. Eventually I wondered “why haven’t I needed to put more water in lately?” It was him.

One thing I’m in charge of is laundry for sheets and towels. When I’m replacing our bath towels, if one of the towels is better in some way than the other towel I take the worse one and put the better one on his rack.

I don’t drink soda, but I will frequently restock the fridge with his sodas so that there’s always a cold one ready for him.

What do you guys do?
