Happy 75th, Esplanade Museum!
It was on this day in 1951 that the Medicine Hat Historical Museum opened to the public in a log cabin in Riverside Park.
Through relocation and expansion at the corners of Highways 1 and 3, then again to anchor the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre downtown, the Museum has an unbroken history of service to the community since that day.
