Luffy and His Friends

My most expensive purchase recently was the first card in the One Piece Visual Storm series. Even though it wasn’t in particularly good condition—there were a few scratches on the card face—I was still keen to buy it. The reasons are that these cards were printed in very limited numbers, the first card often holds historical significance, and, most importantly, it’s simply stunning.

On a side note, if you missed out on the C01 Luffy card, you might want to keep an eye on the C01 Gon from *Hunter × Hunter*. *Hunter × Hunter* is an excellent anime series, and with the manga series having recently resumed publication, its future looks very promising. The C01 Gon card is equally rare, and its X price is significantly lower than that of the C01 Luffy.
