Unstuffed peppers

Unstuffed peppers

My toddler decided the other day that he no.longer liked beef so last night's dinner of deconstructed stuffed peppers featured sweet Italian sausage.

Is it just nonstop for everyone or am I doing to much?

First and only is about 3.5 and It honestly feels like I'm just working non-stop. Is this common for everyone?

When the kid wakes up he runs into my wifes and my room but every time comes to my side and wakes me up to take him down stairs where I make everyone breakfast because I'm already up might as well, then it's non stop chores/play with the kid til I go to work (because I work a weird schedule I don't see him two days a week). Then work for 8 hours come home and depending on the day it's either: come home make dinner for the family, play with kid for a bit then wash him up and do our bedtime routine OR he's already in bed because I'm getting home from work around 9 and I need to get to bed because I'm going to be woken up early by him tomorrow.

Just want to be clear this isn't a do my wife and I have equal responsibility or workload type post I'm not complaining about her nor my kid I just need to know if this is just a phase, do other dads feel like this and if so is there a fix because I honestly don't know how long I can keep this up.

Thanks fellow dads.

Apple turnovers in my spare time

Not sure if I'm in the right place. Here's some apple turnovers I made for my wife and son (personally I don't eat sweets but they said these were tasty)

I really liked bicentennial quarters when I was young

When I was in highschool I really liked these and stashed them all away when I left home for the army. After nearly 2 decades I found my stash in my parents attic and reclaimed my quarters.

So for a while I've been bringing my toddler along with me to LCS's and having him "help" as much as possible when organizing, counting, slabbing etc. the goal is to get him interested in the hobby. Alas it finally happened. We went to a LCS and he snatched up a loose Morgan and claimed it was his special coin. So of course I bought it. Now I want to design and build or buy a place to stash his "special coins" ideally it isn't easily openable by a 3 year old (he will lose them) but have a plexiglass face so he can see them. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Picture of his morgan as a silver tax.
