Atmospheric, slow, and lonely (dark) fantasy

  • Immersive, moody, atmospheric prose and descriptions
  • Solitary (or small party) journeys through dangerous wilderness / forests / mountains
  • Wizards studying the dark arts in solitary towers
  • Eldritch creatures and forces of nature
  • Meditations on nature, decay, and the night
  • Ancient haunted ruins and castles
  • Focus on mystery, lore, and atmosphere rather than epic action sequences or events
  • Preferably pre-2010 publications (I just prefer the prose from pre-social media times, but I'm open-minded), and it doesn't necessarily have to be dark fantasy if it has a lot of the above traits

(In case you couldn't tell, yes I'm a big fan of Fromsoftware games and black metal / dungeon synth music lol)

What realistically could / should the Bolsheviks have done once the revolution failed to spread to Germany and the world, since (in Lenin's words) this doomed them?

Need help adding more HDD and RAM to my PC with limited space / slots

I need more space and memory for gaming and media storage, so I want to add a HDD (not to replace the current SSD) and more RAM to my PC but I don't know where to put them or if I even have room to put them in. There are no drive trays in the computer and I think there are only 2 RAM slots that are already taken up (I wanted to add more RAM rather than replacing them because I already own the RAM). My old PC has a bunch of drive trays; perhaps I could remove them and put them in the new PC? Also, would I have to get a new motherboard with more RAM slots?

Photos 1-2 are the front and back of inside my PC, and photo 3 is of the new components.

Current specs:

- GPU: RTX 4070S

- Hard Drive: SSD 1TB

- RAM: 16GB DDR4, 3200 MHz, 2x8

- Processor: Intel Core i5-14400F (16 CPUs), 2.5GHz, 10 cores, 16 logical processors

- Motherboard: PRO H610M-E DDR4 (MS-7D48)

New components:

- Hard Drive: WD Blue HDD 8TB

- RAM: 16GB DDR4, 3200 MHz, 2x8

Budget: moderate / nothing major if upgrades are necessary

Sorry if my questions are stupid.
