Accidentally told parents we were eloping

My parents were not going to be invited to our elopement, because it’s an intimate gathering and my relationship with them is complicated. I accidentally spilled the beans and they FREAKED OUT and were really upset about the potential of missing it. They really were so desperate to be able to attend, and laid it on pretty thick.

And so now I’m spiraling ;/. Any advice, commiserating, welcome! It’s tough because I’m now wondering “would it really be that bad to have them there” etc.

For the record we’re having another big wedding later on. We are inviting my partners parents to this elopement (I guess technically micro wedding, 8 guests total).

TIA

Black tie wedding outdoors in Tahoe dress?

Hello! First black tie event and a bit confused since we’ll be outdoors! What do you think of these options?
