  1. How is it possible for me to create a post, and within 10 seconds have 15 to 20 views? Even if it says waiting on the moderator?

  2. Shares? Same question? Also, is there a way to see who shared your post and to where?

  3. 1.5k views and zero thumbs up? Does that actually mean no one in that 1500 people either liked it or didn't enough to hit the button?

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. I have probably 15,000 words of notes, research, events and timeline for this. It's about 3 weeks of 3-5 hour late nights.

I finally put it all into AI and said "clean this up and make it coherent." After 5 rewrites, multiple self editing, and a whole lot of arguments wit AI, I think we finally got close to my vision. This is not the final self edit. I would like some constructive criticism before I do the final.

I did give AI the prompt, "This should sound like a historical document or something out of a text book." That part im mostly happy with.

What tool do you use for visuals in your world building?

I have been creating my character, technology, and equipment visuals with the standard AI's (GPT, Gemini, Grock). Nothing as detailed or advanced as many of you are doing.

What image generators, world builders, etc., are you using? I'm not looking to build a video or entire story board, it just seems like I could be getting something a little better than what I have been. Or, maybe, im just not prompting well enough?

Honestly, this is also a side hobby. Not something I want to spend a lot of money on, at this point, in subscriptions. Free tools are perfectly acceptable.

77 Year Reckoning

This is the first part of the world building for the story i am currently writing. It is a historical paper. I have three other parts to this history, plus, the build out of two alien species, and several of the military technologies mentioned in the history.

I would love some feedback. This part is a bit more AI assisted than the story is. The word building approaches 50/50, my outlines, time frames, general feel and story, and AI fill in and grammar. Any dialog, waring sides, technologies, time frames, and events are all mine.

I have built the world, the history, and the characters, now I'm focusing on the story itself. I am using 4 different AI apps for "ASSISTANCE ONLY." I use 1 strictly for research, 1 strictly for images, 1 to assist in the editing, grammar, spelling, continuity, etc., and 1 to do assist in writing. I always go back over the section multiple times both read and audio, and correct issues I catch.

The story is 100% mine. The characters are 100% mine. The equipment is 100% mine. The technology is 100% mine, although I do not blame any credit for the actual science underlying them. The dialog is 99% mine, sometimes AI comes up with a good line.

I am not ashamed to say i use AI. I keep it on a leash and use it as a tool. I want this to be mine. If something is in it that is identical or too close to something else, I try to catch it.

What i would like is a place I can post it, knowing I have used AI like this, that won't permanently ban me, and I can get real human input, feedback, and honest respectable criticism.

A Reconciled History of the Relativity Drive, the Terrestrial Superpowers, the Global Civil War, and the Martian Collapse (2298–2375)

Part One: The Breaking of Distance (2298–2330):

In 2285, Earth's population stood at twenty-two billion, packed into hyper-dense urban corridors that strained the planet's artificial life-support architecture to its structural limit. The world was crowded, exhausted, and hungry for the mineral wealth known to exist in the Asteroid Belt and the ice-locked moons of the outer system — wealth that remained, for the moment, functionally unreachable. Chemical and ion propulsion made the Belt a months-long journey and the Jovian system a multi-year undertaking involving delicate gravitational slingshots. The solar system was cataloged. It was not inhabited.

The instrument that broke this bottleneck was developed in 2298, during a brief and historically anomalous window of détente between the Western Republican Alliance and the Russo-Asian Socialist Union. It was, for most of Earth's population, a life of perpetual, hyper-regulated compression — exactly the kind of pressure that made the open, lawless frontier above their heads feel like the only real freedom left to the species.

That frontier, though, was not neutral ground. It mirrored, in miniature and then in full, the ideological fracture that had split the surface of the planet in two.

The Western Republican Alliance was a technocratic federation spanning the Americas, Greenland, Iceland, Great Britain, Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, governed in practice from the sprawling Washington-Boston Corridor. Its economy ran on hyper-financialized corporate capitalism; conglomerates like Anglo-American Orbital and Pan-Global Extraction held effective sovereign influence over Alliance policy, and its civilian population — materially comfortable, thoroughly stratified — lived inside a corporate caste system where social standing and access to off-world resources were the same currency. The old national borders and alliances were formally dissolved; the W.R.A.'s institutions, still functionally intact, became the administrative backbone of the new order, absorbing the former R.A.S.U. territories under martial occupation. Part Four: The Interregnum (2366–2372):
