I live in the mid atlantic where the sun is made at us right now. Im not sure if im going fishing this weekend, but it made me wonder about fish habits in this heat, 4 or 5 days of 100+ degrees. How have you changed up technique when the weather is like this? Obviously drink water and find shade is possible, but im wondering about how you try to catch fish any different than usual if water temps start to rise.
Looking to rebuild this deck, how would I support the section of roof this 6x6 is holding up? I'm replacing everything and putting in new vinyl railings, but worried about that post and baggage. It's there really much load on it to worry about?
Been trying to repair this generator I got from a guy throwing it out and said it needed a primer bulb. The old one was dry rotted so I removed it and the retaining ring and got a pack of em from Amazon and out one in, but first cleaned the carb and set the float properly with my tecumseh carb tool. Put it all together and no prime but itll run on carb cleaner.
I pull it off and put it in the healing bench and verified all 4 ports are clear. They were, but one of the lower ones goes to that rusty circle on the bottom of the carb and it was boogered up with something that blasted out from my syringe I had in there. Repeated reassemble and installed again and no good. I set it up on my bench with a clear fuel line going to a funnel and I filled the carb from that and once the bowl was full I primed it until my thumb was no good. Even added some grease to the inner faces to try and get a good seal.
Is there a special way to seal those odd primer bulbs and im doing it wrong? Past that I am really at a loss.
