Is this Cage Size Okay?

Duo of 1 year old female guinea pigs!

89x32 (inches)

I know around the cage is messy - the borders are weak and the pigs keep knocking them over This is just improvising til I can get stronger borders:)

The blue towel is a little fort area; they love to hide when they're not running or eating, and have fell in love with this new little hide out!

Is the cage big enough, and is my layout of hideouts okay?? I'm a new guinea pig owner and have never gotten a clear answer on what's exactly right!

Taissa Farmiga but Guinea Pigs

Got two young girl guinea pigs and named them Violet and Zoe after my fav AHS characters :)

Violet(Orange face) is very sassy and moody, and Zoe (Brown face) is shy but super curious!

Hoping there’s a niche of guinea pig ahs lovers out there somewhere

Help bonding with my piggies

I got two girls a few days ago and love them to death! They have a good cage, hiding spots, toys, etc! They seem content on their own, but still are skittish with me. It’s expected, of course! It’s only been a few days, and they also moved owners twice. I just would like some tips on how to properly bond with these sweet girlies and help them grow more comfortable.

One girl, Violet, is a lot braver and lets me scratch her head, but still scurries away when she first sees me.

The other girl, Zoe(shout out if you know what the names are referencing:)) Is really skittish. She will only eat out of my hand if Violet is, or she’ll take a piece and run away with it.
