What is the acceptance rate for Harvard's MPH these days?

Hello everyone!

I am wondering what the acceptance rate for Harvard's mph programs overall looks like these days? I do remember seeing some statistics more than a decade ago, but am not sure what it's like as of recently.

If anyone has any info at all, I would be super grateful.

Thanks so much all!

Harvard's Online (Gen) MPH vs. Residential MPH, which is more difficult to gain admission into?

Hello everyone!

I have heard that the online (gen) mph at Harvard has a much smaller cohort/# of students than the residential mph at Harvard. Is it much more difficult to gain acceptance into the online mph vs. the residential one? Does anyone have any inklings as to what the expected admissions rates are like (roughly) for the different mph programs at Harvard?

I believe we're only allowed to apply to one program per year at the school of public health, so I am trying to decide between those two for now.

Thanks so much in advance for any insight!

Which shelf exam pairings make the most sense?

Hi everyone!

I will be taking my shelf exams in pairs, and I would like to schedule them in a way that makes the most sense. For these 6 specialties (IM, FM, Surgery, Psych, Obgyn, & Pediatrics), which pairings or orders work best? In other words, which specialties are the most similar to each other or will be the most efficient to prepare for when scheduled together? Below are some example pairings I am considering, but we can mix and match any which way we want. Thanks so much everyone!

  1. Internal Medicine, Surgery
  2. Obgyn, Pediatrics
  3. Family Medicine, Psychiatry
  • Internal Medicine, Psychiatry
  • Surgery, Obgyn
  • Family Medicine, Pediatrics
