"Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua"
original post: this is what happened earlier
so yeah 😭 one of our mutuals recognized the story and sent my post to the girlfriend and now apparently i’m being accused of 'wanting attention online' which is honestly ironic considering HER boyfriend was the one publicly acting single all night.
also found out from multiple people that this is apparently not the first time he’s acted like this at parties 💀 one girl literally told me he has a habit of getting overly attached to whichever girl gives him attention and then acting clueless when his girlfriend gets upset.
which honestly explains why he got SO defensive the second i joked that he’d been obsessed with me the whole night 😭
apparently they had a huge fight after the party because other people noticed it too. and i’m not gonna lie, finding out everyone else clocked his behavior made me feel way less crazy because he really tried to act like i imagined the entire thing.
the part that actually made me sad though is hearing that the girlfriend apparently stayed quiet the whole night because she “didn’t want to look insecure in front of everyone.” like girl 😭
i still genuinely feel bad for her because i didn’t even know they were together. but at the same time i’m also not taking responsibility for a grown man embarrassing his own relationship in public while acting single around other women.
"Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua"
so i went to this house party last weekend with a friend and i barely knew anyone there. i was wearing this kinda fitted black top and low rise jeans and honestly i was just there to look good, drink a little and leave.
anyway this guy starts talking to me pretty early into the night and after that he was literally glued to me. bringing me drinks without asking, sitting way too close, laughing at everything i said, touching my waist every time he walked past me like ????
and i’m not gonna lie i lowkey entertained it because the attention was fun and i assumed he was single. no one said otherwise.
later we were all outside smoking and i joked “you’ve been obsessed with me the entire night” and everyone went DEAD silent
then this girl sitting across from us goes “that’s my boyfriend by the way.”
i genuinely wanted the earth to swallow me whole.
the worst part is HE started acting like i was imagining things?? like sir you were following me around like a lost puppy for 3 hours 😭
the girl got really quiet after that and at one point i saw them arguing inside while he kept looking over at me which somehow made it worse.
now apparently they’re “taking space” and one of the mutuals joked that i caused their villain origin story.
i do feel kinda bad but at the same time. if your boyfriend starts acting single because a girl in eyeliner gave him attention for one night then maybe i wasn’t the actual problem here 😭

so I joined this company a few months ago and my manager was always chill with everyone, but recently he's been actinga bit different towards me.
like he never questions me if I ask for WFH or leave. when he makes other people explain everything in detail, with me he just goes "yeah sure" instantly. once I logged in late because I overslept and he didn't question me for anything
at first I thought maybe he's just nice, but then small weird things started happening. he randomly brings me into conversations even when it's unrelated, extra appreciation during meetings, remembers tiny things I say, and the other day he casually gave me a chocolate while passing my desk and was like you looked stressed. LIKE ????
and before anyone says maybe he's single, absolutely not. he's married. wife dp everywhere. talks about his kid too.
now the problem is he's never crossed a line directly, so I can't even call it inappropriate. but the vibe feels very real off. like extra attention that nobody else gets. even my coworker joked that I'm management's favorite child now.
i genuinely don't know if I'm imagining things because he hasn't said anything outright. but as a girl you kinda know when the energy changes.
and now I feel awkward every time he's nice to me because it makes me think that maybe he is doing a bit too much. idk what to do.

so I just shifted to delhi recently for work. went out aise hi the other day and I took the metro as I was getting back. it was like 7:30 but the metro was packed but manageable. i was standing near the pole scrolling on my phone when this uncle kept getting closer just by a little bit everytime the metro stopped. i didn't even pay attention at first because it's quite normal in crowded metros, but then i realised what he was trying to do.
i tried to shift away but this dude kept getting closer. then idk which station it was but he literally pressed into me from behind and was pretending like nothing happened. i froze for a second because nobody seemed to notice and my mind went completely blank. then he pressed again and somehow i gathered enough courage and yelled at him "thoda distance maintain kariye" and this unc had this audacity to act offended like I was overreacting.
two of the girls beside me understood what was going on (thank god) and they gave me just enough space to move away from that creep. and we all started staring him down. dude got off at the next station like nothing happened.
ik metros can be fishy like this but experiences like this just don't come off easily. i reached home and felt disgusted at myself for freezing up at that time.
(TLDR: creepy guy in delhi metro kept following and pressing against me even after I moved away. called him out finally and some girls helped me but he got off at the next station)
