Considering Buying

Hello everyone!

Given the news about Polestar I'm looking at trading in my 2022 Polestar 2 LRDM Pilot, Plus, Performance to get a used C40. I'm interested to hear from you all what the deal could be with this car, it appears to me to be undervalued. Do you think I should go for it? Details below:

2023 C40 Ultimate for $21,403.87 Out-the-door

- 72,425 miles

- Carfax single owner, no accidents or damage reported

- I called the service department it visited for most of its life so far and learned that it had 1 of the battery cell modules replaced at around 71k

- After some back and forth I got a battery statement of health that reported at 91%.

- Asked service about the steering vibration fix, not reported to be addressed or an issue

- I asked if there is smoke smell or odors inside, nope (that's what they always say though)

I'ts a 5hr drive to check it out so I'm trying to get all my due diligence out.

Let me know what you think.

Chainring Noise

I've been building up a Lynskey Elysium dream gravel rig and wanted to put a cleaner looking chainring on to have the twisted down tube stand out more. This 5dev ring fit the bill nicely but is giving a ton of drivetrain noise on the largest 2 cogs of a 10-44t rival xplr cassette. The chain is brand new and cut per sram 1x spec (2 overlapping links). Chain has been ultrasonic cleaned + 2 rounds of silca super secret chain lube. Anyone got any ideas or thoughts on the noise going away as it wears in? Noise is coming from the chainring, 5Dev says it's flattop compatible. I did note that it's a 7mm offest ring so I moved a 0.5mm spindle spacer to the NDS so it matches the chain line sram specs for xplr. Any helps appreciated!
