I know it’s normal in Europe for adults to stay at hostels but any I’ve stayed at in the US (when I was in my 20s) was always college aged people. I’m 50. I can see how that might be viewed as strange and maybe a buzzkill. I think it would be fun as hell, but I don’t wanna be the “dad” in the room.

Looking for casual spot for scallops, fish, etc. Thank you!

Staying in Newport for a couple days (not for jazz, nice relatives gave me a weekend at their place). I rode my bike down Broadway and saw a place called Fastnet, Tavern… looked like a cool Street. Any other non-touristy pubs I should be aware of? Thank you!
