PSL Gifts are arriving
Definitely one of the cooler PSL gifts, although the Panthers logo in place of the giant "PSL" would've made this 10 times better
[Quick] Canales: Starters will play on Saturday vs the Buffalo Bills
Sounds like it will be 10-20 plays similar to what Pickett played in HoF game
Haynes King overreaction thread 🧵
Guy actually looks pretty good and I think this game ensures he's going to get some starts this year to try to win the job.
Feel at worst he's a Sam Howell type that gets a starting job in year 2 which has value in dynasty.
If someone offers me a 2027 2nd for King im hitting decline I just am!
The real question is how beck starting 6 games effects tmac, coker etc
[Person] The “Keep Pounding” chants have broken out at the Cleveland gate at CLT.
We got our culture back 🥹
[Kaye] The #Panthers are re-signing G Jake Curhan, per league source. They had an open spot with LaBryan Ray’s departure.
I thought he was solid last year, nice addition to our guard depth
[White] XL's injury is a "stinger" according to Canales. Deep breaths, #Panthers fans.
Filling out the 53: Ja'seem Reed
By all accounts Ja'seem Reed (who?) is having a fantastic training camp. The Charlotte Observer guys, Mike Kaye and Alex Zietlow, seem to be the highest on him but the drumbeat has been steady from all reporters. I enjoy getting to know the end of the roster guys so figured I'd highlight him in a post as I'm hoping he makes the final 53.
Here are a few snippets documenting his camp performance:
So who is he? Reed played college ball at the FCS level in San Diego. He broke out in 2024 with 77 catches for 1052 yards and 12 TDs, earning the offensive player of the year award for the Pioneer Football League. His best game ironically came against Davidson, where he recorded 14 catches for 186 yards and 2 TDs.
He is 6'2 , 195 pounds and runs a 4.55 40.
Reed initially went undrafted and signed with the Browns last year, but was later waived off IR and worked out for the Panthers before ultimately signing with us. He was later waived and signed with our practice squad after clearing waivers.
Here is a link to some of his highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhH3lxZZ-Ts
As an athlete, not a lot stands out but the tape shows good downfield ball tracking, body control and adjustments at the catch point, clean releases off the line, and strong hands catches.
I think he has a real shot at making the 53 man roster, as he is making plays seemingly daily in camp. Jimmy Horn Jr on the other hand has not shown a lot.
The biggest question will be how many WRs we ultimately roster and how highly Dave and the staff will weigh special teams contributions.
Will be watching closely on Thursday night and hoping he can add a few splash plays to his 53 man resume!

[Person] Phillips calls Princely Umanmielen the best natural pass rusher on the team.
Big opportunity for Princely to step up this year
[Person] Canales: Mitch Evans rolled his ankle; trainers optimistic.
Looks like he avoided something major
[Quick] Xavier Legette is having a DAY. Offense as a whole to be honest. #Panthers
[Carolina Blitz] 11v11. Freeling with good protection on the right side against a rushing Phillips. Young hits a wide open David Moore in the back of the end zone for the TD. Will Lee was in coverage.
Good to see Freeling holding his own on the right
[Raines] Jonathan Brooks on his top speed: "faster than Chuba for sure"
Rooting so hard for this guy
New BuzzBox
Thanks to everyone in here who answered questions I had pre purchase. Drove out of state to pick this up today. 1st edition, RWD. Took it through some windy mountain roads on the way home and it handled great! The turn radius is amazing for a car this size.
For anyone it might be helpful for who is in the market: MSRP was $67.4k, dealer listed for $55.4k, negotiated down to $48k, after tax and fees was $49.7k out the door. They did include the wrong NACS adapter (see previous post) and forgot to give me my 3 year Electrify America code, so still have to sort those things out.
On the trip back used 57% of my battery for 156 miles through the mountains which seemed almost unbelievably good?
I do have a few questions. The helicopter effect when the windows were open was horrible. We tried different combos of open windows and none seemed to solve it entirely. Any tips on managing this?
Also any tricks for getting the roof bars not to whistle? I may just uninstall them for now.
I am planning to buy the weathertech mats and maybe add a tint. Getting an Exped mattress for camping in the back (going to attempt a 52" width and see how it goes). Any other tips and tricks or accessories anyone would recommend? I'd like to get a seat back protector for when the 3rd row is down but I don't like the VW one as it just uses velcro to attach and covers up the pull straps but I don't see many other options.
Still need to buy and install a Level 2 charger. Leaning towards the Emporia unless anyone has a better rec.
Would like to add a dash cam as well and leaning towards the FitCamX one for the integrated look.
Thanks again!
Lectron Adapter from dealership?
The dealer sold me a buzz and included this adapter (the sticker says CCS1 to Tesla adapter) but looking online it looks very different from the official VW one. Anyone else have/use this with the Tesla superchargers?
Thought these were interesting when I first saw them advertised but didn't really consider due to the price point and no kids. Now Ive got a daughter on the way this summer and looking around for bigger cars. We have two 50 pound dogs as well that usually take up a whole row. I randomly found a Buzz for < 40k and now considering. Unfortunately I don't have a garage or an outlet near the driveway. Is it worth it to have a charger installed for this car?
And for dog owners, how do you like it as a dog hauler?
Anything else I should look out for when deciding to purchase? This one has the middle row instead of captains chairs which isnt ideal but it's 10k cheaper than any others near me. Thanks!
