Hidden gem at walmart deli

This is my current go-to for a cheap hot prepared meal while living in my car. This would have been cheap 10 years ago, it's a frickin steal now. I'm aware most Walmarts don't offer carnitas but for those of us that have it, amazing. I believe you can get 3 chicken strips instead for like a dollar more than this as an alternative.

After 2 months working in CA I got a gubment adjustment payment.

Not discussing amounts of course PER THE RULES so I don't get banned again, but I wanted to pass along to anyone new to the area that it seems to cover a 2 week period of work, and probably only happens at all if you're stuck taking garbage offers like I am.

Walmart continues stealing our tips by lowering base pay for double shops.

Just declined a double shop with a base pay of $12, down from the already egregious 14. Considering $11 is the minimum for a single shop, they add $1 for the second order and your tips make up the rest for them. Using their customers tip to pull back their own pay IS stealing tips.

Seasonal Albanese just dropped

Text on the back says they're cherry, lemon-lime and blue raspberry although there's only 2 types in the bag, make of that what you will. Slightly more sour than a normal bag and even softer than usual, though the softness may just be due to it being a new batch

No, not every county in these states has midwestern culture, because cultures do not draw the same lines as state borders. No, Michiganders and Kansans are not the same group of people. They are both midwesterners. Turns out there's variability in the region.
