Recently celebrated 4 months with Finn! It's so rewarding seeing him thriving. The last pic is the day he came home.
Hi all, I'm very, very new here and I want to learn about keeping a pet crayfish. I currently have a betta fish in a planted tank (yes, I know they're probably very different) and have taken a recent interest in crayfish.
It started by watching the crayfish in the river at my parent's place. It was super interesting and entertaining to take a step back and watch them interact with each other, navigate the rocky river bed, and forage for food.
I grew up playing in the river catching them (and releasing them), but the other day, I developed a whole new perspective watching them. This is the beginning of my attempts to research to determine if a pet crayfish would be doable for me. Looking forward to learning more about them!
*I would not take one from the wild*
Hi all, I'm wondering how to tell when it's time to move this plant into soil. It was originally in soil, but lost a majority of it's leaves during a move. I trimmed the stem and put it into this cup of water on April 23rd. It seems to be happier in this cup of water than it was in the soil! Lol. Thanks!
