Hello, I promise I did a search and looked in the wiki. Please be gentle. I have had difficulty getting into my account to check my status today, but was able to yesterday. Today I used the UCI, the Application number, and even the Receipt number. In no instance was it able to find my application, same results as we've seen before. I've been in process for months now.

I thought I had seen, in the past, that folks sort of disappear from the tracker sometimes when they're about too be issued their certificate (maybe related to maiden/married name which doesnt' apply here)? But that might be hopeful confabulation. What has been the actual experience?

I have posted a few times about having a job offer that expires in September. Because of that expiration, we (they and I have roles) are applying for a work permit. I used my UCI on that application, which may have been a misstep, and I would understand why that would mean that the UCI wouldn't work to look up the citizenship application, but nothing else (application or receipt) is working. The work permit application went into processing yesterday.

Edit to add: I see that the tracker for folks getting naturalization is down. I mean the one for the Citizenship by Descent. Ironically, I have no difficulty getting into the tracker for the work permit, which I would have thought was the same as the naturalization one...

Edit 2: it isn't clear above, but I don't have a name change at play here.

Hi there, I'm planning a move to Steinbach and was hoping to get some experienced recommendations for cell phone providers based on coverage and cost and customer service.

I will be based in Steinbach but will have some travel throughout the region. I read somewhere that people were getting charged roaming if they were close enough to the border even though they didn't cross it. I also am concerned about dead zones.

Anyone love their phone provider? Any providers to avoid?

Waiting anxiously to hear about new approvals and re-approvals for the 67 waiting.

I wouldn't post this and just check the weekly thread for approvals... But there doesn't seem to be one?

I remain concerned about the people who had certificates issued and then suddenly suspended. However, during this time, I saw a screenshot with no attribution that indicated that they would be holding off on processing further applications during this time. I asked for a source from the person who posted that, but didn't receive it. It appears, though, to be the case based on the spreadsheet from the other sub.

Does anyone have a sense or information about when they may restart? I have a job offer (in a sector and region that needs workers with my credentials, I'm not making your housing costs more expensive, BC or GTA) that has a deadline. I have requested urgent processing, uploading the letter with the deadline highlighted, but alas I wait.

I don't want to get a certificate, move and then have it suspended, and I don't want that to happen to anyone else. But before I have that problem, we need to get certificates too.

I just learned about how truly awesome Julia Ward Howe is, thanks to Heather Cox Richardson. This feels like a good Happy Mother's Day. And I'm printing it to display for my right-wing Christian Uncle who is *missing the point* of the Bible lately. Hope you like it. Might put it on my car.
