Canada Post not letting my husband pick up my mail

We have construction going on our street and were just recently made aware that Canada Post is holding our mail during construction. When I inquired, I was told the pick up times are Monday-Friday 9:30am-1:30pm. With my work being 30 mins away, I am completely unable to pick up my own mail during that timeframe. My husband works from home and we live close enough that he could go pick up during his lunch break today. However, they refused to give him my mail today, stating that only I could pick it up. Is that correct?? My husband and I have different last names so could that have caused confusion? I went on the online chat with Canada Post later today and they said that having the same address should be sufficient but then sent an authorization form for me to fill out. My husband is going to try again tomorrow but I’m just wondering if there’s anything else I should do to ensure he can get my mail…this whole process has been pretty frustrating.

OB or midwife after loss [MB]

TW: pregnancy loss

Some context to my situation:
Had my son in April 2023
Missed miscarriage in October 2025
Chemical pregnancy in January 2026

Now 8 weeks pregnant. I have an appointment at the end of May with my same OB that I had for my first pregnancy but also just found out I got in with a midwife, and they booked me for an initial appointment at the beginning of June. I don’t want to waste resources obviously so after my midwife appointment I will decide which to go with. I did like my OB that I had for my son, for what it’s worth.

I’m just torn on which to go with. I’ve heard great things about the care that midwives provide, but also feel nervous given my previous miscarriage. Has anyone with previous losses gone with a midwife? Which would you choose?

My doctor sent in a request for an early pregnancy ultrasound due to previous losses. Obviously I’m anxiously awaiting the scan. I’m just wondering what wait times are for this kind of thing now and when I should expect a call/letter.
