Bamboo Panda, artist Michael David Ward, Ravensburger, 200 pieces
From their Puzzle Moments collection. It was quick and fun. I started with the panda and rainbow.

Another thrift store puzzle that is missing 1 piece. I’m not sure if I will keep or donate, but I wrote on the box so that future me or future buyers will be aware of the missing piece.
Ironically, I was pretty convinced that I had just overlooked the missing piece until pretty close to the end, since I’ve been known to somehow be unable to find an edge piece before. But this was actually missing versus my missing it. lol!
I got this puzzle at Goodwill a while ago and have been saving it for the 4th of July. I’m pretty happy with it, especially since it has all of the pieces!
And oops, it has 550 pieces, not 500.
As a girl in the 80s, I loved My Little Pony, so I had to get this puzzle when I saw it. Plus, it seemed like a nice rainbow 🌈 puzzle for Pride Month.
Lots of fun!
5 month kitten- Any ideas on adult coat length?
I adopted 2 3.5 month kittens (littermates) a little over a month ago. The shelter described them both as domestic short hair. I have some really serious suspicions that one of them is actually either a medium or long haired cat.
Does anyone have any experience with how their kittens’ hair grew out or stayed the same from this age?
I’m including pictures that show her fluffy tail and britches, paw floof, and minor ear fluffs. Her sister, who is definitely a DSH, is also there for contrast and cuteness.
I’ve always had short haired cats before, so if she will be a longer hair cat, I want to get her ready now for any grooming routines that we should develop.
This was a thrift store purchase. Technically there were 501 pieces in the box, but only 493 of them belonged to this particular puzzle. It was fun to do, but will be going in the trash.
First puzzle of summer vacation!
This was not that challenging except for the edges. Those were hard. Fun puzzle, although I’m sad about the missing piece.
As it turns out, starting with the edges may not have been the best idea for this puzzle. I knew that, but was afraid that if I waited and did them last, I just wouldn’t do them at all.
I had no real false fits, so that made this less tedious and more fun-challenging rather than exhausting. Hopefully the rest will come easier!
I just got some kittens, so this seemed like a very appropriate puzzle! I thought the green background might be a bit of a slog, but the color was nicely shaded to make it less painful.
Fun and quick!
This was my first Anatolian puzzle, so I was pleased to find it a quite pleasant puzzle to put together. Plus I’m always happy when my thrifted puzzles have all the pieces.
Nice puzzle!
This was the first puzzle I’ve done with my newly adopted kittens in the room, and while they did interfere with the puzzle a bit, there wasn’t the total carnage that I feared. And I’m getting good use out of the cover that came with my puzzle board.
This puzzle is really pretty when put together. The colors aren’t murky, which made it fun to do.
I got this from Goodwill. As I was sorting the pieces, there were 3 pieces that were clearly not from this puzzle in the box. They were small and had the blue Ravensburger backing. So, when it turned out to be only missing one piece, I was kind of pleasantly surprised, since I was pretty sure that pieces would be missing, so just one was nice.
Thrift store purchase, second puzzle in a row missing one piece. Otherwise a nice puzzle.
Thrift store purchase turned out to be missing one piece. What is weird is that I m usually very suspicious about missing pieces that totally turn out to be right there if I just looked carefully.
This one, I didn’t think about pieces being missing until I was left with only a few pieces and realized it wasn’t enough.
This was a great puzzle for May. I enjoyed all the vintage seed packs and nursery adverts.
I lived with her for 18 years, the last five it was just the two of us after my other kitty passed. I know that this was the best thing for her, that I did it in time to stop her from much suffering. And my heart is still broken.
I’ve lost pets before and it always destroys me. But this is hitting me particularly hard because I’ve never had an empty home before. I’ve always had another cat still in my home and life. This time, all I have is silence.
She was the sweetest and easiest cat I’ve ever known. She was the plushest baby girl and she loved to flop over and get belly rubs. She wanted to be near me, but not necessarily on me. I haven’t slept, cooked, or pooped alone in 18 years. She said goodbye when I left for work and greeted me when I got home.
She loved to talk to and chatter with me and she had the roundest face with big blue eyes. She was a Siamese mix, but was built like a cobby cat and had the shortest thickest raccoon stripe tail that was always in motion. Her tail was the last thing that moved when the vet sedated her for the last time. I loved her so much and still do.
Her absence is deafening. I am planning on getting some more cats in a while, but I know that I need to mourn my sweet baby Nixie before I bring new cats home. It would not be fair to anyone for me not to take this time. But my home is so quiet and sad.
