Has anyone else played the Steam version of Max Payne on their Machine? I keep getting a “JPEG” error. I saw online a file called MaxPayneFixIt, but when I try and run the install file, I’m not getting a window like the tutorials. Just a window to select the application to open the file, and none seem to work correctly. Just checking to see if anyone else has come across this issue and was able to bypass it. Thank you for any assistance!

Edit: so, I got it to work! There’s a Steam Forum post by IVV4, where they made a zip file so you can extract the new dll in to the Max Payne folder and overwrite the file causing the issue. HUGE shoutout to that user!

Go to Desktop mode, Applications, find Nested Desktop, Install it. Run Steam in Desktop, add the app as a non-Steam game. Return to gaming mode. If you have DeckyLoader, change the artwork so it stands out more. Now you have a way to do some Desktop tasks directly from Game Mode. For instance, I just used it to install the MAKO - Frame Gen. I just don’t see a lot of videos, or posts for that matter, bring it up.
