experience with korean c curl perm (with layers)

hi! so i've been thinking about getting a hush cut or some other sort of long layered hairstyle like the one shown above. i currently have typical straight asian hair with some face framing pieces and bangs. my only issue is i hate spending time in the morning on styling my hair, so i want it to look good even when unstyled. i heard this look can be achieved with a c curl perm? if anyone has experience with it and have input on the maintenance and whether or not it's worth the cost, that would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

My only motivation for going for the pro over the regular model is the optical zoom. I'm coming from the iPhone 11 with no optical zoom so anything would be an upgrade lol, but would I be happy with the regular 17? Or should I just go all out with the pro? I'm not a photographer. I'm hoping to use the camera for vacations or pictures from hikes (which I don't do a lot of, but do have some planned in the next few months), as well as taking quick pictures or videos for arena concerts and music festivals.

I can afford both, but a $470 CAD increase is still quite steep. I did have my eyes set on the pro for the longest time, but now I'm wondering if it might not be necessary?
