Sus out a census with me, help!

Hello! I’m trying make out the occupation at the top. This was from the 1800s in Yorkshire, England. Thank you!

I thought cobbler but it doesn’t appear to be that. AI can’t come up with anything that seems to make sense either.

UPDATE: I found a more recent census where they were listed as a “Dyer”, and they had a second hand clothing shop that ran in the family. For everyone suspecting something related to fabric, I think you’re right. I still don’t know what word it would be though lol

FSA for Pregnancy/New Baby

Hello, I was wondering how much you would recommend adding to your FSA for 3rd trimester + birth + afterbirth and postpartum care?

I know each insurance policy and location are different. This would be for someone living in Southern California.

Any other tips are welcome.

Anxious girlies, how are we making it to 12 weeks “hopeful”?

First time pregnant, I’m 4+4 and have known for a week.

I feel like my brain is preventing me from feeling the excitement, hope and “looking forward” because I’m so nervous of the “what ifs”.

My mom lives with us and I’ve not told her. Our family has a Labor Day bash when I’ll be 8 weeks and we want to share then. My first scan will be on Sept 16th. I’m struggling with how I should be feeling right now. I want to be excited but also want to protect my heart.

I have “no reason to be worried” I suppose. Lines are doubling every other day. Other than a moderate increase in urination frequency, brain fog, weird dreams and early waking - I’m symptomless for now.

How did you stay hopeful so early through 12 weeks that you would have a successful pregnancy?

Place to watch the sunset, handicapped

Hello! I’d like to watch the sunset with my Mom but she is handicapped. She can’t walk very far at all, so “on the beach” is a challenge.

Are there any places with parking close to the viewing site? I’m newer to OC so still getting familiar.

Thanks so much!

New to all this…tell me what I should know!

Hi everyone! The World Cup has been exciting to watch as someone who’s never really watched soccer before. I think I’d like to change that.

LA is my home county, so I’m committing to LAFC :)

For a new fan, what are some things I should know?

Songs (does the U.S. do this or is this a premier league thing lol), anthems, best seats at BMO, stadium or fan etiquette, favorite players, whatever else you can think of.

Thanks!

Mountainsmith Cottonwood 6 Reviews?

Hello! Starting our camping journey (2 adults, q dog) and wondering if anyone has this tent (below) or knows if Mountainsmith is better than a Coleman.

We’re looking for a 6 person tent under $300 that I can stand up in fully. Would be used for basic car camping, likely in fair weather (40-85 F), light rain here and there. If our budget allowed, I’d get a Wawona 6.

My local REI has the Mountainsmith Cottonwood 6, brand new for $125, because it’s been discontinued. https://www.backcountry.com/mountainsmith-cottonwood-tent-6-person-2-season?srsltid=AfmBOopYLPPKul3PU7sI4SCnela4GpyH2hBtle-ZUQCqfLDSVij48qvR

If you wouldn’t recommend this, what would you recommend?
