Thrustmaster T598 connection issues - what did you do?
So, I waited the 3 weeks for the replacement PSU to fix my T598 (I'm in Australia, it takes forever for things to get here.) and 2 weeks after it arrives, I have the same problems. I keep losing Power Pack races because it just disconnects mid race. In fact, this PSU disconnects twice as often as the original.
Their response to this was for me to return the wheel to where I got it from. Really helpful. Even if they offered to send me another one I'd have to wait 3 weeks again anyway. The wheel is only 9 months old anyway so no problems returning it.
So, considering Thrustmaster sucks, I wont waste my time replacing this wheel and pedals in my rig with another one. What are my other options for PS5? I pretty much use it on GT7 exclusively with a little bit on ACC. Something with load cell pedals would be pretty awesome (Thank god Thrustmaster only had 5 of their upgrade pedals in stock for the entire world because I almost bought some but, you know, stock levels). Maybe a Fanatec set?
Are you an Ex T598'er - what did you replace it with and do you like it? I love the feel of the T598 wheel, a lot. The pedals are pretty basic but the wheel is great.
