I just had my yearly physical.
Long story short - since the beginningish of October I've lost 27 pounds and took my A1C from 6.4% to 6.1%.
I know there's a lot of work to do, but I'm also going to celebrate some wins because I've struggled with my weight and health for over 20 years.
If you see yourself in any of these posts, please give it a go. Talk to your provider, a dietician, etc... and surround yourself with good people who will support you. (Drink water, too.)
It's hard work, but you can do it.
Twice within the past few months and three times over the past 14-15 months I've gotten past the screening interview and had an interview with the hiring manager.
In the interview they've told me that they want me to come back for an interview with the team or with some executives and that the person who scheduled the current interview will reach out and schedule the interview.
Then it doesn't happen and I either get a note saying I wasn't chosen or I've followed up with the Recruiter who tells me the position is filled.
Has anybody else had this happen? I'm just wondering if it's coincidence, a new trend or me.
