Seal Fursuit customization/Name ideas!

Hey guys! You may have seen my post a couple days ago asking about my first fursuit! Instead of going through Doki, I found the original artist and am going to commission them! It costs less and all the money goes directly to the maker! That being said, I want to add some customization, do you guys think I should/can? It wasn’t a specific fursona so they can use the same base, but I want to make it somewhat my own! I also need name ideas! I’ve sketched a couple pictures over the original suit to add some fun details I might want. I’m thinking about removable lashes and a tongue. Seals have forked tongues so I thought it’d be a cute detail, and I just like the idea of the lashes! That being said, I like the realism too, so I want them to be removable. I also have a septum ring so it’d be cool to incorporate that into it, but with how the nose is shaped I’m not sure it’d work. I could always try and add it on later. I’ve attached the original as well as some sketches! Shoot some name ideas/opinions/advice to this new fursuiter!

First fursuit?

Hello everybody! I’m thinking about getting into fursuiting and commissioning my first one! I was just wondering if the price I’m getting is fair and the seller is reputable! They have a lot of followers, and they look really good! They offered me 1,500 for the set of the head, paws, and tail. I feel like it’s almost too good to be true lol.

Galumphous Seal

Hi! You guys may have seen me posting about this seal a few days ago, but the seller refused to cancel and he finally arrived in the mail. I was hearing a lot of mixed opinions as to if he was fake or not so I tried to cancel but the seller refused. Now that he’s actually here I can take more detailed pictures! He does have what seems to be an authentic dust bag and the QR code on the tag does take you to the jellycat website. He’s cute and soft either way and I got him for only $75 (including shipping) so I’ll still keep him, I’m just curious!

How to spot a fake?

Hi! You guys might’ve seen my post about my first Jellycat galumphous seal. My order hasn’t been confirmed yet so I was wondering if I should cancel because some people said in the comments he looked fake. Can I get confirmation and also information on how to spot authentic vs fake? He looks so real to me it’s crazy how much effort people put into fakes! Thanks very much!

My first Jelly!

GALUMPHOUS SEAL!! How CUTE is that name?? I found this lil’ guy on Mercari (haven’t got him in the mail yet), really hoping I didn’t get scammed! I just love seals so much and collect lots of different stuffed animals (Build-a-bears, squishmallows, beanie babies, etc.) and have been eyeing Jellycats for a while! Hope this doesn’t become another addiction! 😅 (It probably will)

Captain Clark is Clark?

I know this is a semi-popular theory, but I want to list some reasons why I think it’s extremely plausible.

  1. Clark (probably) got killed in the beginning of the movie.
    When we see Clark in the room with the pool after he set the camera down, we see that something bigger and much taller approaches him while he tries to locate the other girl (I forgot her name). She warns that something was behind him before the camera cuts. Either this was Pirate Clark already manifested, or perhaps some sort of backrooms entity that maybe killed and took his skin? This also begs the question of what ever happened to the other girl, but that’s a question for another time.

  2. Captain Clark bleeds.
    In Clark’s monologue about the copies the backroom makes, he mentions that they don’t feel anything, don’t bleed, and they appear to be emotionless and stoic. However, Captain Clark defies all of this when Mary fights back against him. We can see his blood splatter against her face, and we can also see him flinch and pull back after multiple hits. I think Mary also realized this, which is why she paused to stare at him when he was reaching out at her through the crack in the wall.

  3. The missing scar.
    While I didn’t personally notice this detail in theaters, apparently Clark had a scar on his forehead through the entire first half of the movie, except when he’s sitting at the dining room table with Mary. Captain Clark, however, has the scar. Maybe it was a detail missed in one scene by the makeup crew, but the fact that they remembered the detail for Captain Clark tells me that it was intentional.

  4. Clark refers to pirate clark as “we.”
    This point speaks for itself, but I find it extremely interesting. In regards to the first point, maybe he somehow befriended Captain Clark and had gotten that delusionally attached to him throughout the time he’d been stuck there, but I feel like that’s less plausible. It also would beg the question of why he suddenly attacked real Clark. Maybe because he recognized Mary, and saw it as a possible way to escape. He states himself that they are just copies, but by telling him “we don’t have to change” it implies a deeper connection, like they are both the same.

I may be just stating the obvious, but I want to hear thoughts about it.
