I 3d printed my HON66 key. And you can too.
For some dumb reason, rather than spending $50 to have a locksmith cut a new key for me, I just measured my key bitting with some caliperas, designed a website to create a 3d model of the key, and printed it. And it worked first time out! I was kind of shocked.
Check out the web site. Of course, you might break crud off in your key cylinder and cause way more than $50 of damage. So, that's up to you.
The website is open source, you can do any changes you want. Everything is kept in-browser and nothing is stored.
