Security deposit. Is this reasonable?

Hello! Seeking advice lang on what to do here. Kukunin na namin yung security deposit after namin lumipat. Pinacompute ko sa kanya, then sabi nya yan daw yung nagastos sa renovation sa room. 1k for deep cleaning sa CR? Pero nilinis pa namin yung cr before kami umalis. Ako lang ba or garapal talaga yung landlord? Thoughts nyo? Any advice would help din. Thaaanks!

Create project or practice sa sites?

Hi everyone. Aspiring data engineer here, self taught sa python and SQL. Kakatapos lang ng live coding interview ko kahapon and I received a rejection email lang kaninang umaga. Medyo hirap ako pumasa sa live coding and technical interviews. Sa tingin nyo, mas better ba in the long run na gumawa ako ng projects for the actual role or grind sa practice sites like Leetcode? Any advice would help!

Would an internship be a good idea when career shifting or is it just a waste of time?

Hi everyone. I just want to hear your thoughts on my current situation.

For my background, I'm a graduating civil engineering student this coming June 10. However, this is not actually the career path I want to pursue. My parents just urged me to specifically take civil engineering since we're a family of engineers and want to continue the legacy or whatever. I realized this more when I did my internship for my degree last year and I'm not really seeing myself being happy if I continue this path. What I am actually interested in is the tech field. I really excel at programming and I enjoy doing it. In fact, my first degree is actually computer science before shifting to CE.

I came across a job post looking for a data engineer intern and I thought to myself na what better way to combine my civil engineering degree and my passion for tech than to pursue a career in data. It's a paid internship, but I don't really have any financial responsibilities pa naman. I also plan to take the CE board exam, just for the sake of being licensed, this coming September. Pero since I'm not looking to pursue a CE path nga, I also want to jumpstart my career by having some experience in the data field first. Is this viable or should I opt to try and acquire regular employment nalang? I worry na I can't even get entry level roles kapag mag aapply ako ng walang kahit anong related experience in data. Any advice would be appreciated. TIA!

Abscess formed on the surgery site post fistulectomy

Hi everyone, I've (25m) been lurking around here for awhile and reading some horror stories here and there.

I underwent fistulectomy last month and now I'm on my 5th week of recovery. First 2 weeks were rough and I couldn't really move or walk around properly. After that, I was basically pain free with a bit of drainage.

Today however, while I was letting my partner check how the wound is healing, she told me that there is a little abscess that formed right where I was cut open. The wound is mostly flat now except for the little bump thats filled with puss. I do not feel any pain with the abscess tho.

Went to the hospital a little while ago but was told my surgeon is on leave so I have to come back 2 days after. I'm planning to ask my surgeon if he could prescribe me some antibiotics because I'm so worried that the abscess might develop into a fistula again. Words aren't enough to express how frustrated and stressed I am because I thought that everything will go smoothly after this. I was just wondering if any of you guys had a similar experience as me and what happened afterwards?
