Looking for a moisturizer to use with tretinoin

I used to use tretinoin 0.025% for around six months and my skin had adapted pretty well to it. Unfortunately I had a pretty bad depressive episode which lasted for a year and at the time I stopped using tret and moisturizing (bad, I know), only using sunscreen once in a while. My acne did flare up, but I was too depressed to do something about it haha.

Now that I've gotten better, I'm planning to reintegrate tret to my routine. I understand that I will go through the same adaptation period just like before (peeling and dry skin), but if possible I'd like for it to be not as painful. I have a combination type skin, but even the oily parts peel when I first used tretinoin.

But since my go-to local moisturizer had been discontinued, I'm looking for a moisturizer that is:

  1. acne-prone friendly and won't clog my pores as long as I cleanse my face
  2. moisturizing and heavy enough to combat the dryness (I don't mind stickiness or heavy feeling)
  3. doesn't sting when applied to dry or sunburned skin
  4. my previous moisturizer had Aqua Ceramide and HA, so those ingredients are safe for me. not sure about other active ingredients though

Based on things I've read on this subreddit and others, the ideal options are:

  1. Illiyoon Ceramide ATO Concentrate Cream
  2. Aestura ATO Barrier Cream
  3. CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

But still, I'd like to know what your thoughts and opinions on this. Any advice is appreciated, Thanks!

arms and back cellulite? new insecurity

I've gained a little bit of weight due to depression and anxiety medication, and it mostly goes to my arms. I impulsively bought a backless dress thinking it will be fine, but when I tried it on today, I looked horrendous from the back.

I have somewhat made my peace with how my arms look from the front, but from the back combined with the dress they look even bigger and the cellulites are more pronounced.

I also never noticed this, but I took a picture of my back and it looks HUGE. Instead of looking delicate, my shoulder blades looked chunky and underneath there are even folds and cellulites, even when I'm standing straight. It feels like I've discovered a new insecurity and now I'm spiraling. Help!

Looking for Udemy DE courses worth taking

I have some experience in Python and SQL mainly for Data Analysis, but I'm looking to switch to DE. Looked up what to learn and got a lot of conflicting informations. Figured that it's better to start small by taking courses, but I'm not sure which one to buy as funds are limited. I heard that Udemy has good courses, but is there any specifically in DE that has a good structure/curriculum? Any suggestion is appreciated, thanks!!

Looking for manhwa with cozy vintage feel

In the Garden of May just came out and I'm loving the artstyle. It has that cozy, vintage, nostalgic feel to it. Please recommend me more!!

Doesn't have to be super similar, but what I'm looking is the vibes. Other manhwa with similar artstyle vibes for reference:

  • I Raised A Black Dragon (victorian-ish era, steam-powered trains, warm homey feel)

  • Cat in the Chrysalis (the scene in the library where the sun pours through the windows)

  • Cry, or Better Yet, Beg (the actual story itself is super shady and heavy, but the artstyle!! so beautiful!!)

  • Veil (not really OI, but the grainy-ness vibes is gorgeous)

Another way to describe the vibe that I'm looking for is like reminiscing on a past love, rose-colored glasses and all.

What went wrong?

So, I just found out that they're planning to take a whole new direction with the fragrance-led branding, which led me to this nostalgia rabbit hole.

As a Gen Z, I've always viewed the Glossier brand as this millennial pink, early instagram aesthetic, I-got-it-together, fun LA it girl vibes. They really managed to capture a loyal audience in the mid 2010s when bold full-face makeup was what everyone is doing.

They also got through the pandemic, which not all beauty brands managed to do, but after that it seems like they've kind of lost track of their brand identity. Sure, they have to adapt to the changing market, but even then they didn't manage to fully capitapize on the coquette, cottage core, clean girl trend.

It's just such a missed opportunity, especially because of how cyclical trends are. Sure, right now y2k is all the rage, but in a few years it'll be those mid 2010s aesthetic (even now there are already small trends about 2016 throwback). Especially with the recession, people are clinging to nostalgia and the good ol' days.

Now that I actually have the money to purchase their products, it's sad to see that they're not what I remembered and wanted them to be.
