Pilot Episode - Basketball scene

Rewatching OTH.. I know they had a different pilot episode where Haley/Reagan was played by Samantha Shelton instead of Bethany. Never aired.

In the aired pilot we see Bethany as Haley. But the end of the episode in the 1x1 with Lucas and Nathan.. you see one clip on Haley (added in). But Reagan is still there front and center lol and runs into Lucas’s arms right after he wins that 1x1.

I guess they just didn’t want to reshoot that scene again for the pilot.. but I’m glad they went with Bethany for Haley. I could never imagine Reagan be with Nathan or Lucas’s bestie lol

Greta obsessed with Halley

It’s becoming so noticeable how greta is attached to halley all of the sudden now.. even despite wedding week being over. She is still hanging out with halley & reed in the Hamptons. While everyone else went back to their day to day lives like jaz for example… lol.

Halley kate + Greta

I can’t help but notice recently how close Greta got to Halley. Like Greta is everywhere doing everything with Halley.. Even Jaz never seems to be that clingy to Halley.

Incoming Fall 2026 Transfer Student Looking for Advice!

Hi everyone. I’m a new transfer student starting at Stony Brook University this fall and I’m honestly both excited and nervous since my last in person classes were years ago and most of my college experience so far has been online. I’m planning to commute to campus and would love any advice current students wish they knew before starting.

A few things I’m especially wondering about:
• Best places on campus to study or relax between classes
• Parking tips for commuters
• Apps, websites, or resources that every student should know about
• How difficult it was adjusting to the size of campus
• Things you wish you had done before your first semester started

Also would visiting campus a few times before classes begin be helpful for learning the layout and finding classrooms?

I’d appreciate any advice, tips or even things to avoid. Thank you in advance..

What is with the haircuts/outfits??

I know they’re trying to show that everyone’s entered a new phase of life and is on a different journey, but the styling just doesn’t work for me.

Brooke’s haircut is awful, and Haley is giving secretary/soccer mom. Yes, I get that she’s a teacher and a mom, but she’s only 22. Why does she look and dress like she’s in her late 30s?

And Brooke… she’s supposed to be running a successful fashion brand, yet they keep putting her in low-cut dresses with that Karen haircut. Somehow her own mom looks more stylish than she does. 😭

It just feels like they aged them up overnight instead of letting them look like young adults figuring life out. They could’ve made them look more mature without making them look decades older.

Also blonde haley when she was on tour>>>>

Anyone else think these three looked too much alike lol

I recently started one tree hill and Felix, Marcus & Chase just all look like the same person.

I’ve noticed something and I’m curious how others see it and personally I have never looked up to any influencer.. just noticing this pattern.

Some Muslim/South Asian influencers will highlight their identity in achievements like for example “Come with me to be the first Muslim to do this” or “GRWM to be the first brown girl/boy to do that,” which I understand… it’s about representation and visibility.

But when they’re criticized for something, they’ll say things like “Well I don’t represent the Muslim/South Asian community” or “I didn’t tell you to look up to me.”

Also, I’ve seen people respond with “I never said I’m perfect.” That’s fair… no one is perfect. But if you’ve built your platform partly around your identity as being a Muslim or being South Asian, people are naturally going to hold you to a certain standard connected to that.

It just feels inconsistent to highlight identity when it’s positive, but distance yourself from it when there’s criticism.

I’m not saying anyone should represent millions of people, just wondering where the line is between personal individuality and the responsibility that comes with centering identity in your content.

And whether those same morals would exist if you weren’t an influencer or if this shift is just part of the trade-off that comes with having a platform??
