My landlord told me she invited a future tenant over tonight to sign over the lease for mid-August, and expects me to pay 1/2 of next month's rent. I just had a visitor today who wants to rent for the 1st, but he will have an answer for me tonight.

I requested to move our appointment up to 20+ hours away from when she told me she was having a meeting in my apartment. she demanded that the appointment will be tonight, refused to ask the other future tenant to reschedule, and told me to change my plans. Quebec law requires 24 hours' written notice for a landlord to enter a leased dwelling. I made it clear that i won't be there, that i prefer the next day, and gave a wide range of alternative times to visit (8am-9pm)

I have this all in writing. if she enters the building tonight, despite me not consenting in writing, can i use this as leverage to break the lease?

i'm trying to move from montreal to vancouver. uhaul u-box just canceled my order due to inaccurate info on the website, so i'm looking for a reputable moving company in its stead.

i only have about 1.5 rooms' worth of stuff. i have a decent gaming PC that i want to keep safe, so im not looking to ship my things on a pallet. the less expensive the better, idc if i have to wait a month for my things, as long as it all arrives safe.

u-box was $2k. i know i won't get that good a deal elsewhere, but close enough would be nice

any personal recommendations?

went to pickpocket her, failed the check and she aggroed. cast Confusion on us all, drank an invis pot, and ran away.

now she's missing. i've long rested, left Moonrise and came back, etc etc. she cast confusion on me irl because she's always just called for the guards instead of doing anything about my crimes herself. is she just gone til act 3 now? (if she isn't gone from the game period)
