Update on Sleep

Been smoking Redwood Reserves for almost a month bow and my sleep is so much better. For the first time in my life, I don't wake up feeling like I got hit by a truck in the morning. I've suffered with insomnia ever since I was a kid along with racing thoughts that would make it hard for my brain to shut off. Sometimes, i'd wake up so nauseous and even throw up because of how terrible my sleep was. I wanted a solution. I despise the feeling weed gives me. It actually makes my mind race more so I was a bit wary of this but I wanted something to smoke and have as a hobby to do, if that makes sense. I was previously terribly addicted to 7OH, an opiate like drug and wanted to switch to something much less harmful after being clean. A new "hobby". This is a total game changer.

Also, what I like about this is that it isn't harsh on my lungs. Weed makes me cough like hell and my asthma gets bad at times but I haven't coughed once while smoking these.

Been smoking CBD and my sleep is improving tremendously. I slept for the first time this year without racing thoughts and feeling beat up

I'm probably going to start to roll my own but for now, I'm very happy with the results so far. It's been 5 days since I've started. I just smoke one cig at night, come inside, shower and then go to bed. I feel really calm afterwards. I've suffered with racing thoughts, social anxiety, and depression since I was seven and this is helping calm my brain a bit. I'm on Zoloft and the CBD in combination with it + my own self therapy is helping tremendously. I chose smoking as my method of intake because I wanted a "hobby" if that makes sense and something to do while I walk my dog. Weed makes me cough like hell but the CBD cigs don't. I just won't overdo it.

Been using CBD cigs and they help a lot with getting me to be calm

I'm 10 days clean and feeling great outside of my usual depression and restlessness/racing thoughts that I always had. Decided to look for other things to use that are less harmful and addicting than 7OH. Stumbled upon some Redwood reserves CBD cigarettes on Amazon and they've been helping a lot. It's not as harsh as weed and doesn't really get you high in the way regular marijuana does, which is good for me because I hate the feeling weed gives. It just makes you feel really calm. It also gives me something to do since I've been a bit fidgety since coming off of 70H. I specifically wanted something I could sit down and chill while doing, like a hobby so to speak. Didn't want to do tinctures or gummies.

I also take regular plain leaf kratom and that's been going great as well.

Been about a week since no 7oh and I feel great

Just been taking plain leaf. My only issue is intense boredom and feeling beat up in the morning due to not getting a good sleep. I've always had sleep issues so this has nothing to do with 7oh, it's just that the 7OH would take that feeling away. Now, instead of hiding behind 7oh, I have to confront the feeling I get head on and figure out how to get over my sleep issues. Planning on tapering down from plain leaf in two weeks or so. Just trying to get over this emotional, FINANCIAL, and psychological torture that I went through with this stuff.

Day 4 of no 7OH: Bought a pack of six tabs at the smoke shop just in case I needed a strong painkiller in the future since it'll be illegal soon. BUT ended up taking one AND...

I hated the feeling of it. I absolutely hated it. I'm sticking with plain leaf. The feeling of it alone gave me PTSD, even with the euphoria I was getting. Brought back memories the hell I've been through mentally and financially because of this thing. The taste, the smokeshop owner, the 30 min drive back home, everything felt unpleasant. Like I was revisiting a bad dream. I'll just treat the rest of it like they're pain meds to use on super rare occasions till the five tabs run out. I take half so it'll last. I have it thrown into the back of my dresser where I can't see it.

Also, I've posted here before about this but most of my major withdrawals stopped by the second day so I didn't buy any to take that away. I used plain leaf, MIT, and GABA for two days. Still using plain leaf now.

Day 3: Plain leaf works again 😭. I have 0 withdrawal symptoms

Thank you all so much for the support. The first day was absolute hell. Felt like I was going to die but MIT extract, plain leaf and gabapentin helped with the withdrawals. The second day was just terrible fatigue. Could barely get out of the bed for half a day. Now, I feel good and I'm getting good euphoria from plain leaf. Going to taper off of plain leaf soon. I'm blessed. Could have been worse. I walked my dog this morning. My sleep wasn't great but I barely ever get a good sleep in general, haha.

Now I have to work on paying all my bills that I'm behind on. All my credit cards are maxed out and overdue. I have loans I took out that I need to pay. My credit score is demolished, all because I stupidly got addicted to 7oh and needed it to function. I have to do some Uber, Spark, and lots of saving money until I go back to work. I'm a substitute teacher so we're off for the Summer with no pay 😞.

Anyway, this sounds weird but I love you all. You guys were my main support and even though I may not speak to you guys again (hopefully we don't cuz that would mean I relapsed 😂), I'll always have you guys in my heart. God bless you guys and take care.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I was taking 252mg a day, sometimes a lot more and tapered down to about 120mg before I made the jump and hopped off.

Alright guys, it's day 2 and the withdrawals have mostly stopped

I just feel a bit beat up but the aches and cravings are gone. I'm taking plain leaf right now but once I'm good, I want to get off of that too. Was thinking of going back to leaf for a while but I just wanna be clean now. Tired of this stuff. Thank you all for the support so far. God bless you guys🙏🏽

I'm in agony right now. It's been 24 hours. Say something to encourage me please

I'm using plain leaf to help with the withdrawals but I'm still hurting all over. I heard that the first 48 hours is the worst of the physical symptoms so I just need to make it through. Give me some encouragement. This thing put me in debt, destroyed my credit score, and caused me so much psychological pain whenever I was about to run out of it and money.

Took only one 21 mg pill this morning and I'm done now

Gonna use MIT capsules and plain leaf. I'm very nervous but it has to be done. I'll keep you guys updated.

I miss plain leaf so bad. Wish I never touched this stuff 😭

I was addicted to plain leaf but it wasn't as bad (OR EXPENSIVE) so it wasn't such a big deal. I've struggled with depression & ADHD since I was seven and plain leaf helped tremendously, although I am now going to focus on getting the right meds once this is all over.

Anyway, my Mom had a mild stroke and I "needed a stronger high" to help me focus while I take care of her so I bought some OH. Big mistake. I'm tapering off of OH now but because it'll be illegal in my area soon, I might just make the jump. I need to get on plain leaf again, get the effects it used to bring, and just heal from all of this trauma 7oh causes before I get myself clean of everything. Just wanna chill with some leaf again and get back to how things were mentally, physically, and financially. I'm in debt because of this crap.

Have my 15 min intake screening to get meds to help me get off. Wish me luck

Was worried the meds would mess up this Life Insurance policy that I'm trying to get but at this point, I need to get off. My credit score has dropped, I've taken out so many loans. I also have gabapentin to help along with whatever else the detox clinic prescribes

I'm nervous guys. I don't know if I can do this but I'm fed up

Took out a $900 loan recently and spent it on OH. I'm behind on my credit cards for the first time in years. I have to end this addiction but I'm scared. I tried last time but the withdrawals were bad and I just couldn't stay consistent. I have gabapentin, hydroxyzine, and vitamin C ready, I'm just scared. I struggle with depression. Been struggling since I was seven. I'm 32 now and Kratom helped a lot. Then, switched to OH when my mom got sick and I had to take care of her. Needed a "good high".

Anyway, I am going to start my major taper tomorrow. Wish me luck guys. I need to get off. They're trying to get rid of it in my area too and I'd rather get off beforehand than wait till there's none and I have to go cold turkey.

Edit: I can't try suboxone. It'll mess with a life insurance policy that I'm taking out so I'm cooked lol.

Title says it all. I hope I'll be able to make it. Doing the Vitamin C, Gabapentin methods. Have to dose up on gabapentin before work this morning. Got four hours of sleep. I'd love to just get knocked out for like a week. Wish I could go into a drug induced coma, done by professionals like the ones they do in Russia or something lol.

Oh, also I'm a substitute teacher so yeah. Dealing with 20 kids at once while going through this is gonna be rough. Should have called out but it's too late.

I have to get things done as fast as possible before it wears off and the withdrawals get so bad that I can't function. I'm tapering and I need money to buy it. Not getting paid from my job till Friday so I do Uber eats on my free time. I have to do it as fast as possible before the dose wears off so I can buy more. This is torture.

I'm tapering now and gonna start the vitamin C method + up my dose of gabapentin that I use for neuropathy. I wasn't using much of the gabapentin anymore because a little manages the pain but now I'm going to up it for like a week.

I'm going cold turkey. I can't keep going out to do Uber eats and spending all my paychecks on this thing. I have undiagnosed ADHD and I can't find a psychiatrist that will actually diagnose me peoperly. My mind is always racing. Been on ssris, Wellbutrin, and antipsychotics. None of them stopped the racing thoughts and nobody will let me try meds for adhd. 7OH did though. 7OH made me feel normal. Upgrades from plain leaf kratom to it when my mom got sick and I felt stressed out.

I woke up early this morning on my off day to do Uber eats to make $30 so I can go buy some more this morning. I drive almost 30 min suffering with withdrawals at times to go get it almost everyday. I'm done. I don't want to do this anymore. I'm not going to go back to the smoke shop. The last dose hasn't worn off yet and I'm already wishing to just die. I can't keep going anymore.
