Order never showed up

I made two orders in July, one for the act 3 posters. And another for the act 3 vinyl and a couple of t shirts. From the official merch site - through shopify.

Both orders basically stalled for a month - labels showed as being created but the tracking number showed no progress.

I complained about the order I made first via email - they responded promptly and then the order proceeded and was delivered a few days later. This was the posters.

The second package I waited a few days, then emailed about that one. This was about 2 weeks ago. They responded saying they’d look into it - and never followed up and now won’t respond at all. Package tracking still says “label created” as the newest step.

This is pretty brutal. It’s been over 2 months since I made the order. And this one was over $200 worth of merch.

Anyone have similar experiences?

I feel gaslit by the reviews

So I’ve been on vacation the last 2 weeks and didn’t get to see Supergirl. I had been super stoked to see it because I really dug the comic it was “based” on.

So needless to say while on vacation I was bummed by the negative reaction, but being a fan of the genre there haven’t been many DC or MCU movies I’ve missed in theatres over the last 20 years. I rounded up my buddies and we went and saw it in an empty theatre.

I had a ton of fun. Milly was excellent, the action may not have been revolutionary but it had some really unique moments. Lobo was spot on. I don’t get why people didn’t dig this!

If this movie had come out in 2018 it woulda grossed a billion and had 2 sequels by now.

I think the truth of the matter is we’re seeing a fatigue for quippy action comedies. Masters of the universe had a similar vibe - I loved it as well - and it’s suffered the same fate this summer.

Supergirl is not a bad movie by any stretch. Comparisons to Morbius are laughable.

I suspect it’ll get a second wind on streaming

Does anyone else remember this book?

This was my introduction to cryptozoology. Back in the early 90s when I was in like 4th grade I discovered it at the library and would take it out constantly. I recently found it - and the entire book collection it belongs to - on marketplace for $50 and it’s been a nice trip down memory lane. Still holds up tbh!
