Lost passport in Australia

Hello! I am a student in Australia and I lost my passport when coming back from India. The immigration people transferred my student visa on my old passport for now and said to get a new passport asap.

Now here are the list of problems:

  1. Getting a new passport in Sydney is a mess and I gonna cost me a fortune which I can not really afford as a student.

  2. Another option I am weighing in on is to go back to

India using my old passport on which they transferred the visa. But this passport of mine was marked as damaged by the Indian authorities since spilled some water on it once, but my main page is all intact and it is yet to expire. Is this a risky step I should take?

  1. Get an emergency certificate and go back to India and get a new passport there. But I have read that if you get an EC the passport psks asks a hell lot of questions and documents to get a new passport.

Please help me out here, I am really really confused on what to do now.

Thanks!

Part time but no contract (new info)

Hi I already posted here with the same title- https://www.reddit.com/r/coles/s/HWlfT5bIwu

  1. So now that I got my payslips I am confused so need some help.

I worked:

Wednesday -> 9pm-12am

Friday -> 9pm-12:45am

Sat and Sunday -> 9pm-12am

I have attached the payslip I got for this work above and somehow it's not at all making sense. And if you can specify what rate you get for working on Sunday and Saturday working part time.

  1. In my previous reddit post someone said that if they are paying part time rates they will have to give me 12hrs but the previous to previous week I only got 3hrs and in that payslip they paid for 3 hrs and added 9hrs of unpaid leave. My manager or any other manager none of them told me about this and I was totally unbothered about this on my payslip but now it feels fishy.

Please let me know what should I do? Should I be quite and not say anything until and unless I am getting 12hrs of work for a week be it on any day and without having a proper part time contract signed?

Or should I say something and ask the SM?

Thanks in advance for reading and answering my questions!

Part time but no contract

Hello! I joined a newly opened coles as a Nightfiller- part time. I have been getting 12 hrs shifts for 2 weeks now and got around 5-6 hrs when the store was not opened yet but the stuff needed to be filled.

The problem here is that we haven't signed any contract of what days we would be working as part time and we are getting different shift each week. I also got to know that some of the members shift were reduced to just 3-5 hrs/week. Also other positions people who joined with me got their contracts on day -1 as part time positions and I am still waiting on it. I have a fear that they would be only keeping people who are working fast, and I might not be able to make it since I am knew and I am a little slow in comparison.

I am kinda panicking because I need the job and idk what I should do.
