I got this bike from a dealer for a steal in June. 2024 3100km piped and tuned. The black looks SO sick but it’s such a bitch to clean and I swear a new scratch shows up daily. It has about 8600km now and I’ve been presented with a chance to get onto a 2024 SP for another steal. Dealership is going to swap my levers, pipe, cooler and rad protectors, pyramid panels and headlight wing, tail tidy and my tires over onto the SP (I hated the Michelins and love my dunlops). Is the headache worth jumping onto an SP?

What did you go with after?

My deleted Q5 TDI is more than likely about to get written off. I don't know what to do.

I bought it in cash last year and somehow was spending $750 a month between fuel and insurance. I drive a ton and figured diesel was the way to combat that but I guess not.

I'm looking into maybe another diesel, cheap MK7 TDI wagon would do the trick or maybe just trying out a tesla model y. I guess I'm just here to ask for input. Bummed about my Q5 but I need to start car shopping soon.

Looking for suggestions

I’d like to get some headlight protectors that are actually yellow and not highlighter like colour.. where can I find those?

New mirrors and ASV levers go on tomorrow, some frame sliders and a new seat are a must a think. Thinking of doing the graves sliders as they look good but I could definitely use a suggestion on a seat as the Yamaha OEM comfort seat seems like a sham. I loved my SHAD on my 09 but that doesn’t seem like an option unfortunately.
