I'm closing my Venture X, how to cash out the $300 travel credit?

I've recently moved out of the US and so not able to travel as much as I used to before. So even though the VX is technically a +$5 AF, since I won't be able to travel extensively I'd rather save some money towards living expenses. What's the best way to "cash out" the travel credits. I've looked into converting them into airline credits but those are only valid for at most a year and seems to be American Airlines or Delta which I don't foresee flying in the next year.

Any help would be appreciated on how best I can get these out somehow.

And on a related note, does downgrading get you a prorated AF refunded? I used to live in California if that's relevant.

Looking for campaign game recommendations for PC. Here's what I love so far:

Games I've played and liked:

  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
  • Hitman World of Assassination trilogy
  • GTA V / Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Uncharted series
  • Tomb Raider reboot trilogy (2013-2018)
  • CoD / Battlefield campaigns (enjoy them, especially WW2 settings, but pure shooters are not really my thing)

What I'm looking for:

  • Strong single-player campaigns (no online multiplayer)
  • Action-adventure, exploration, stealth, open world or semi-open world (prefer action over pure shooting)
  • Released in the last 10-15 years (modern graphics are important to me for immersion)
  • PC only

Not my thing:

  • Zombie games
  • Played Cyberpunk 2077, not for me.

I love cinematic, story-driven experiences with a mix of action, exploration, and atmosphere. Think Indiana Jones, Uncharted, RDR2 vibes.

Thanks in advance!🙏
