MRI

Bruh, just had an MRI and had to be still for 15min straight. No stimming or anything. As soon as I was in a separate room to change back into people clothes I started ticcing up a storm. I'm so thankful my darling was in the waiting room to hold me up while we made our way to the car.

It's so wild to me that I had to get my wiggles out immediately as soon as I wasn't within eyesight of other people haha.

I have too many figs. Somebody take them.

Edit: many takers. If people still want some plan for the latter half of August. Should still be fruiting then.

Not selling. Free figs. I think I have Celeste figs? The tree is PROLIFIC and beautiful and lush and will not stop with the figs. I got tired of them 2 weeks in. Now they're rotting on the porch and that makes me sad.

I will be pruning with a saw this winter if anyone wants cuttings then as well. Everything I can't reach to harvest will be going.

Technically the leaves are also edible if dried or boiled into a simple syrup. Hints of vanilla so they say.

Fun fact the sap is closely related to latex, stay away if you're allergic. The sap also causes photosensitivity so wash your hands and arms after harvesting.

Anyone who has different cultivars maybe wanna swap cuttings? I'm going to try my hand at a franken-fig.

Neuro appt

Headed to my first neurology appointment on the road to diagnosis. It's a 40min ride. Anyone got specific things I should bring up or ask the Dr?

Apex Connections CLT

Whew. So I needed interview experience and this seemed like an opportunity for that.

Sus things:

\-called me, I did not apply

\-5 star reviews, no text

\-no description of what they actually do

\-supposedly work for Verizon, no mention of Verizon on website

\-bare bones offices (nothing personal)

\-printout to fill out before interview asked for previous pay rate (not allowed to ask this\*\*\*)

\-other interviewee present was a baby face 20yo (warned him to look up devilcorp and ask pointed questions)

\-talked a lot about merit-based promotion

\-2 comically large checks in interview room for a few grand for "exceptional service" or something. I forget.

\-everyone was really young. Mid-late 20s. Finance bros.

\-2 rounds of interviews, first lasted, what 10min? (I will not be called back for another)

\-had someone "sitting in" on my interview. Behind me. Ew. (Intimidation tactic?)

\-person behind me got visibly irked when I made a joke that this definitely wasn't a pyramid scheme. Cut in when I mentioned that the names of them and their "other offices" were kind of bland and non-descriptive. Didn't like when I asked if they've heard of a devilcorp.

Guy behind me also said I was really aloof and not what they were looking for in a candidate, but my interviewer was more noncommittal about a call back. I said he seemed upset and he said he just drinks a lot of energy drinks and then we talked some about those and I recommend Arizona RX energy cus no caffeine. Also talked about Jeni's Ice cream. Idk if they're bad people but they're too deep in this shit.

Hey fellow exotic animal keepers of Charlotte.

I have 50 or so adult dubia roaches that are too big for my leopard gecko to eat, if someone is willing to trade for another type of feeder I'd be grateful.

They are gut loaded on sweet potato and hydrated with water crystals.

Y'all know that we want to rotate types of feeders for optimal health of our exotic friends. I'm not looking for mealworms, super worms, waxworms, or crickets (please no crickets, I hate them). Another type of roach or larvae or silkworms would be optimal. Captive bred only. My roaches are directly from morphmarket.

Hello friends.

TW: description of tic

My most recent tic is to go ham on my head with the heel of my palm. As one can imagine I don't enjoy this. Any recommendations for a psychologist and or psychiatrist in the Charlotte NC area that specializes in tic disorders?

Mine is adult onset and undiagnosed, but it's been 7 years of it so pretty safe to say it's staying.
